Maybe there is a chance for Oregon. The camera does try and stay on the queens but does go out into the seats that is mostly empty.

The flagpoles are a tribute to Hitler.

The number 88 in America, especially in right-wing or government contexts, often carries a dark undertone that’s hard to ignore. In white supremacist circles, 88 is a well-known dog whistle—it stands for "Heil Hitler" because H is the 8th letter of the alphabet, so 88 becomes a coded "HH." This symbolism has been tied to extremist groups for decades, showing up in everything from manifestos to tattoos. For example, the "88 Precepts" is a manifesto by David Lane, a neo-Nazi figure, and the number was symbolically used in a 2008 plot to assassinate Barack Obama, where the plan involved killing 88 African Americans.

In government, the number can stir controversy even when the intent isn’t clear. Back in 2019, an FBI counterintelligence official flagged raising a flag to full staff on August 8 (8/8) as a potential "messaging" issue because of its neo-Nazi connotations—showing how hyper-aware authorities are of this symbolism. On the flip side, 88 doesn’t always mean something sinister; in other contexts, like amateur radio, it’s a sweet shorthand for "love and kisses." But given the White House flagpole context here, and the specific height of 88 feet, it’s hard not to raise an eyebrow. Is it a nod to extremists? A coincidence? I’m skeptical of it being random—88 isn’t exactly a standard height for flagpoles, and the number’s history in far-right culture makes it a loaded choice. What do you think—innocent flex or something more coded?

Asshole move.

James David Donald Bowman Hamel Vance clearly has a problem with keeping names straight.
