Culvers doesn't impress me. They are a "more expensive version of Five Guys".
Thier ice cream is okay, nothing to write home about.
Hmmmm....someone seems a little picky.
Five Guys is expensive grease that leaks through your bag. Culver's is much, much better...although I cannot compare price to Five Guys as I have never been back.
And after this I am writing home about Culver's ice cream.....

More expensive??
I think not--not even close.

Here’s a comparison between Culver’s and Five Guys hamburger prices and which tends to be more expensive:

Culver’s

ButterBurger (single patty): ranges around $3.79–$4.29
(Menu Price Guide, culversmenu.store)The Culver’s Deluxe:

Five Guys

Hamburger (single): generally $7–$9 (5 guys Menu, fiveguysmenus)
More specific price ranges show hamburgers around $7.29 (Five Guys Menu)

Overall Comparison

Culver’s burgers are clearly less expensive, especially when comparing single-patty or even double burgers. For example:

A Five Guys hamburger can cost nearly double what you’d pay for a single Culver’s burger, and still notably more than a double Culver’s Deluxe.

I agree about Culver’s. Their hamburgers are very good; their walleye and cod fish sandwiches are the best in the business.

But you know sometimes you just want a good quarter pounder.

And those fresh young faces working there just make you want to grab 'em in a headlock and give 'em a noogie.

Uh oh. Someone didn't ring the Culver's bell on the way out the door.

**** Culver's with their half-size fish fillet sammiches at a premium price. :nono:
I made that mistake once, not doing it again.
For fast food? Checkers or Wendy's double. I get my burger from a real meat market,
and it's way better and cheaper than anything Walmart has. Wally World snookered me into a tube
with the yellow tag not long ago, it's OK, but..that stuff's funky, IMO.

Fish filet? Yuck.....

It's interesting this thread pops up now, just a day or two before the Cheeseburger festival at one of the nicest beaches in the state.

Go look at choices on menus under burgers. You ain't lived until...

Worked at a BK when I was a lad, was B grade...The swill they put out now is horrid.

Yeah, they were generally considered better than both McD's and Wendy's.

Now if you compare them, it isn't even close. Wendy's blows the other two away, their beef tastes nearly as fresh as Culver's.

I suppose that really is the difference between fresh and frozen. As far as I know, both Burger King and McD's use frozen while Culver's and Wendy's use fresh.

I have no Culver's on this side of town, and since the pandemic, the mom&pop joint that I used to get quick burgers went under in this town, I will occasionally do Wendy's. There is just something better about Culver's burgers, and their fries are far better too.

There's a Culver's opposite side of town, I'll sometimes get one when I have shopping to do over that way.

I go to Wendy's for chili....they throw their burger remnants into the pot to make it.

I agree with BBQ joints being the best for a good burger accept unfortunately in my hometown of Orlando Orange County
Florida. The BBQ joints there went down the tubes as far as quality of food and service and the prices are way too high.
