What PP does with that money it says isn't used for abortion is they attach it to things that they do in the course of providing abortions. Pregnancy tests, pap smears, birth control are all provided concurrently with the actual abortion. So they take the money that is in the room with the abortion and *assign* it to other procedures...but the reason the women are there, and the reason they get these "health" services,is because they're getting an abortion.

Poverty might have been a reason why it took her a while to raise the money for an abortion, but her inability to speak English had nothing to do with it. She was a 41 year old woman who knew that having a baby at that age was probably a risk.

That's the point. There's no money to be made in pregnancy tests, pap smears and birth control. That's why the government subsidizes them.

The solution would be for conservative groups to create an organization that does those things, be able to provide them effectively, and then apply for those same government grants.
