Where to begin. Back when NAFTA was negotiated, REPUBLICANS didn't protect our vital industries. Why you ask? Because the workers were unionized and overpaid. So their jobs went overseas. WE did that. Canada didn't do anything wrong. Mexico didn't do anything wrong. So now you want to tariff what? Milk? Are you trying to steer people towards buying American dairy? I get it. Because no one is buying dairy anymore, American dairy farmers need the help. So then do a milk tariff. I get that.

Auto manufacturing jobs were the ones that hurt us the most in the 2000's when BUSH sent all those auto manufacturing jobs overseas. Or to Mexico and Canada. So I get it. But now you want to close plants in Mexico and Canada and you don't think they'll fight back?

What's insane is I don't 100% disagree. I get it. But isn't it too late now? NAFTA, Free trade, etc. It's probably not hurting us as much as you think. Probably keeps prices down.
