Zone1 Resource Thread: Silver Bulletin: How Popular is President Trump?

Trump is America first but he knows how the world works and will do business with anyone as long as that business helps Americans and doesn't take advantage of the USA....
I know it looks strange to you but that's a real US president.... not a senile puppet on a string...
Some of it I like. I'll admit that.

And I ended up liking Bill Clinton and disliked Bush and his father... I hated Obama and Biden.... they took the democrat party to a very dark place.... but their actions helped to usher in Trump and MAGA.... there is always a pendulum swing in politics....

Bush is absolutely why Trump won the GOP primary in 2016. Absolutely. And he used racism to win after 8 years of Obama. Obama was a great president. Trump just can't admit that now nor could he in 2015. Not when he decided to run as a Republican. I can show you quotes of Trump praising the Clinton's.

I'm sorry, but did Obama not do a good enough job for you getting us out of the Greatest Recession since the Great Depression?

Biden also had to get us out of the pandemic. One thing I loved is he took the opportunity to rebuild infrastructure. Something Reagan stopped doing. It was long overdue. And he got us out of Afghanistan. I know, you didn't like how he did it. Of course not. Trump would have done it without any mistakes. LOL

The truth is and if I had more time I could show you... but remember the white house correspondents dinner that Trump attended while Obama was president?... out of the blue Obama from the stage started to demean Trump... I could see how much Trump hated that...
That was the night Trump decided to run and beat Hillary to get back at Obama...

That might very well be a key night in the history of the world. I have no doubt. I was hearing a good story on NPR. How one of the generals during WW2 was in the meeting deciding with cities to bomb in Japan. They were going to bomb this one city and the General said "oh no, not that city, I visited that city once as a child and it was amazing, please not that one". And so they picked Heroshima and Nakasaki instead.

You get the point. It's little things that happen that can change the course of history.

We all understand why Michael J Fox should not disturb the time line one bit when he goes back to the future because the smallest thing could change everything. Well, the same thing is true right now. The slightest thing you do can change your entire future. If your dad stopped for a coffee the night he made you, you wouldn't be born. Another sperm may or may not have penetrated the egg.

I guess all we can hope for is people who lead are right one more time then they are wrong.... if you want pressure try being a platoon leader in a dangerous area and you have to decide if its safe to send your men in or not.... Or a pilot with a planeload of souls....
Or a US President....

I think Chaney duped Bush into thinking invading Iraq was the right thing to do and years later Bush realized he lied to him and Bush will always be the one we blame, not Chaney. And it haunts Bush. You can see it when he's sitting with the Obama's. Shamed.

“When she first got in and was named speaker, I met her. And I’m very impressed by her. I think she’s a very impressive person. I like her a lot. But I was surprised that she didn’t do more in terms of Bush and going after Bush. It was almost – it just seemed like she was going to really look to impeach Bush and get him out of office, which personally I think would’ve been a wonderful thing,” Trump told Blitzer in the interview.

“Impeaching him?” Blitzer asked.

“Absolutely. For the war. For the war,” said Trump, referring to the 2003 invasion of Iraq. “Well, he lied. He got us into the war with lies, and I mean, look at the trouble Bill Clinton got into with something that was totally unimportant and they tried to impeach him, which was nonsense. And yet Bush got us into this horrible war with lies. By lying. By saying they had weapons of mass destruction. By saying all sorts of things that turned out not to be true.”

Asked about the remarks during a presidential debate eight years later, Trump said, “you do whatever you want – you call it whatever you want,” and reiterated his belief that the Bush administration lied.

Considering Nate Silver Doesn't Engage in Trolling and the Popular social media madness of the day, We have decided to post here in "The Clean Debate Zone" a great resource From Nate Silver's Bulletin. Hopefully any debating of the data and opinions will be based on what is put forth by Nate and his team. Facts can be debated, but an eventual outcome of acceptability is usually warranted. Facts can be agreed upon, even when how any facts are presented is seen as debatable. This type of thing used to be the accepted norm of disagreements not being disagreeable.

This is from the free side of the Bulletin, not the paid subscription side of it. What is great about Silver is how he explains and lays it all out -- how his team and he uses data, what data they use, and much, much more. It's all pretty transparent, which is usual in this age of translucency (dare I even suggest opaqueness?), posing as transparency.

Poof! A miracle.

Show me his ear today.

Is this like Big Time Wrestling? Where he cut himself with a razor?

If you watch WWE, Cena and the Rock just did to Cody Rhodes what Trump and Putin are doing to Zelensky. Trump does have Linda McMahon working for him.

I agree with you about Dick.... he is an old school republican and those folks have lost their way.... they have yet to figure out who our real enemy is... its not Putin or Russia...
After the fact I was not happy with the GOP back when they went after Clinton... When I really thought about it I realized it made the GOP look bad just like I think it hurt dems to lawfare Trump and impeach him three times....
Just be adults and the people will listen but play games and the people will tune you out...

Nate Silver also said that 68.4% of polls were unreliable, the rest were “just total bullshit”

Nah. Trumps just playing the game way better. Putin plays the game better than his political opponents too.

You have allowed yourself to be manipulated by an angry greedy out of control news media who hates Trump and doesn't have one good reason so they make up dozens of lies and deliver them to the democrats... but the media is the number one reason why democrat's are out of power today... and my favorite part is watching death dumb and blind dems who act a fool.... like the other night at the joint congressional speech....

I’m smart enough to see the scam at play. They’re being rather obvious actually. Nothing we can do about it.

If I were a Russian, I’d be a successful Russian. Hopefully not financially affected by Putin’s bad decisions which caused sanctions.

Will trump get us sanctioned by Europe, Canada and Mexico? Ww3?
