Republicans hold a large majority in both houses of Congress, a large majority of the state legislatures, and a large majority of the governors' houses.
Any Republican presidential candidate faces a huge uphill battle before the first word of the campaign is spoken, let alone the nominees are decided. They have knee-jerk support of the entire country's government employees - mainly the unionized ones. Prog's control the media, and especially the news media. Every misfit, pathetic, would-be-VICTIM group in the country sees its salvation in electing a Prog President. With the exception of Social Security, everyone drawing a government check is in lock-step support of the Democrats.
And while low-information voters are present on both sides of the political spectrum, the Democrats have, for the past few generations, been cultivating citizens who don't speak English, people in nursing homes who barely remember what their name is, and so on. Which political party has been campaigning for more and more ways of voting by mail, voting early, voting at the McDonald's drive through, and at the same time FIGHTING AGGRESSIVELY to PREVENT reasonable fraud-prevention measures like voter-ID? Fraud city.
And that's before you even start to count the eight or ten cogent people who are aware of the issues and for unfathomable reasons have concluded that Progressive policies are best for the country.
BUT...the failures of this President and his limp-wristed, patronizing, government-take-all policies are so OBVIOUS and so IRRITATING, and four more years of the same thing are a revolting possibility that will propel TAXPAYERS to the polls in droves next November.
Why vote Republican? There are AT LEAST ten (10) current and imminent R candidates, any one of which would be a dramatic improvement over our current Beloved President, both in credentials and capabilities.
Regardless of your position of gay marriage or socialized medicine, you must be SHOCKED at the chutzpah of the current Supreme Court in re-writing a stupid, ill-conceived, poorly drafted law to perpetuate a Progressive initiative, and mutilating our Constitution to promote an institution (marriage) that has literally ALWAYS been the province of the state governments. And even minimally-aware Americans are aware that voting for HRC (or any Democrat) would mean more of the same crap from the USSC and the other Federal Courts.
Regardless of your knowledge of economic theory, no politician is clever enough to paint this cluster-**** of an economy and cluster-**** of a "recovery" as anything other than a total failure at the top level. You don't re-elect the party that failed for 8 years to get anything constructive done.
Ronald Reagan won two landslide elections with no support from Blacks or Hispanics, by mobilizing Americans who believe in American exceptionalism and in "middle-class values." And yes, these people are mainly white people. The same formula can and will win again in 2016.
