Republicans Think Obama Owes Them An Explaination

Too add to where the republicans put their priorities:

John Kerry: Darrell Issa's Release Of Raw Libya Cables 'Irresponsible And Inexcusable'
Senator John Kerry (D-Mass.) criticized House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R- Calif.) for releasing 166 pages of "sensitive but unclassified" State Department cables that contained the names of Libyans working within the United States.

"This is irresponsible and inexcusable, and perhaps worst of all it was entirely avoidable," Kerry said. "It is profoundly against America's interests in a difficult region."

The Obama administration has also criticized Issa for leaking the documents, which relate to the September attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi that killed Ambassador Christopher Stevens and four others.

Administration officials told Foreign Policy magazine the leak, along with Issa's failure to redact the names of Libyan civilians and local leaders mentioned in the cables, could have "unintended consequences."

"This does damage to the individuals because they are named, danger to security cooperation because these are militias and groups that we work with and that is now well known, and danger to the investigation, because these people could help us down the road," an administration official said.

In a letter to President Barack Obama, Issa, along with Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah), said the cables were released because "the American people deserve nothing less than a full explanation" about the Benghazi attack.

"The American people deserve nothing less than a full explanation from this administration about these events, including why the repeated warnings about a worsening security situation appear to have been ignored by this administration," Issa and Chaffetz wrote. "Americans also deserve a complete explanation about your administration's decision to accelerate a normalized presence in Libya at what now appears to be at the cost of endangering American lives."

At least Kerry is now interested in "America's interests in a difficult region." It's about time he began distancing himself from Jane Fonda.

I'm not surprised that Darrell Issa is more interested in aiding and abetting terrorists than securing sensitive documents from people who would do harm to America.

A vote for Issa is a vote for treason.

Simple human decency.

But leftists don't do that, do they?

For the last 4 years, Obama has had the attitude that it's none of our fucking business what he does to our country. The health care bill was none of our business and we couldn't see what was in it till it passed. What his czars are doing behind closed doors is none of our business. What his EPA chief is doing is secret isn't our business. What he tells foreign leaders (regarding his flexibility after the election) is none of our damn business.

Yes, presidents need to explain themselves. They work for us and we have a right to know what is going on in our country and why our people overseas were not protected. We are not a people ruled by government dictators and that little shit would do well to remember that. We, the people, rule and we have a right to know what the hell is going on with this administration.

Total BS- they discussed ACA for 6 months-The Senate Plan was online for six weeks. Transparency has never been higher, Pub/Rush/Beck/Fox/etc etc etc Bots.

I t looks like the CIA has just about concluded what happened, and it makes the RW look like a bunch of ADD A-holes...Assume the position...:lol::lol:

so you believe what the CIA tells us Frankie?....an agency that is all about deceit and deception?.....well its par for the course for you i guess, you believe everything the Democrats tell you too......Dem Dupe.....

Why would we bother to explain something to a closed mind?

You can't even explain it to yourself. The fact that it endures is a continuing testament to right wing closed mindedness.

Try right wing control of 90% of the major media outlets.

Yeah...the media is righ wing....suuuuuuure it is.....God you are dumb..... and you expect anyone to believe you've been nothing but a brainwashed democrat you're entire life....LOLOL

I gurantee if Obamination's response to questions about Libya was "None of your business," he would lose the election right there on the spot.

I wish he would be so stupid to look into the cameras during the debate and tell the American public...."
it's none of your business."

This just goes to show the OP is a fucking nutjob.

And there you have it! Once a member of the CON$ervoFascist Brotherhood has been successfully programed, no amount of evidence can get them to think for themselves.

*snort*

So says a follower of the Continental European tradition of political theory: classical liberals are fascists.

Right. That makes sense.

See my post in the above. The issue goes to the administration's attempt to confound our understanding of things with its bull about a video and protests. This new twist on the same obfuscation doesn't cut it, Jacobin. You're merely demonstrating your woeful ignorance about the events leading up to the attack and the nature of the game Obama's been playing since. It's your naiveté that is on display here, your lack of political sophistication.

But then again, leftists can only think and speak in slogans, the poor dears.
The CIA position 3 days after the attack was that it was the video that lit the fuse.

Now the CON$ervoFascist Brotherhood will be calling him Gen Betrayus.

Al Qaeda Took Advantage of Libyan Protest, CIA Chief Says - ABC News

Al Qaeda Took Advantage of Libyan Protest, CIA Chief Says

The attack that killed four Americans in the Libyan consulate began as a spontaneous protest against the film “The Innocence of Muslims,” but Islamic militants who may have links to Al Qaeda used the opportunity to launch an attack, CIA Director David Petreaus told the House Intelligence Committee today according to one lawmaker who attended a closed-door briefing.
Rep. Dutch Ruppersberger, the top Democrat on the House Intel committee, said Petraeus laid out “a chronological order exactly what we felt happened, how it happened, and where we’re going in the future.”
“In the Benghazi area, in the beginning we feel that it was spontaneous – the protest- because it went on for two or three hours, which is very relevant because if it was something that was planned, then they could have come and attacked right away,” Ruppersberger, D-Md., said following the hour-long briefing by Petraeus. “At this point it looks as if there was a spontaneous situation that occurred and that as a result of that, the extreme groups that were probably connected to al Qaeda took advantage of that situation and then the attack started.”

So you want to go on playing games with the idea of "pre-planned attacks" or "organized attacks,", eh?

With regard to updated information, where in my post above this one did I say anything about "pre-planned attacks" without a definitive caveat?

Now I remember you from the past. You never were an honest sort.

I don't have time for this. The issue is much more complex than you're trying to make it out to be. From the beginning, The administration is responsible for confounding our understanding of this matter, rattling on about a video and protests while simultaneously claiming that it didn't have enough information to know what happened precisely in Benghazi! Its narrative has been all over the place. It owes the American people an explanation that is clear and accurate.

And yet on the other hand, the information on the following links blunt the point you think you're making with your shouting capitalization which flies right over my caveats.

Bottom line: I understand why the Administration has been trying to muddle our understanding, and you don't.

I love the smell of Obamabot desperation in the morning. The Dear Leader can't just blame this one away. This awful mess is all on him. And no amount of spin is gonna change that.

If a Republican were President for that fiasco, how they allowed the murder of American citizens who were begging for help would be front page news every day right now, it would be finally replacing Fast and Furious as the media obsession. But it's a Democrat, so it's no thang...

Then sheep like Huggy say the media is right wing, wow. :eusa_eh:

Yes, the OP would be screeching for Impeachment right now. It's an awful mess. And the Dear Leader just can't blame it all away. But i'm pretty sure he'll try. ;)

Republicans owe the country an explanation on why none of their policies work. Why they let Bin Laden go. Why we invaded Iraq. Why the ruined the economy. Why the voter suppression. The list is endless.

Agreed, ditto the Democrats

Why they let Bin Laden go
The only President I'm aware of who "let Bin Laden go" was Clinton. Do you have a link for the Republicans doing that?

You're a fruit bat.

Would be great if the rethugs would just come out and say that there is nothing that Obama could say or do that they would believe about this issue (or any other). Makes it a lot easier to move along.

And you know its the truth. You rethugs relish this killing of a diplomat. You think you hit the daily double and the lotto. You rethugs will be pounding this issue right up till the election.

And like Huggy said; Obama don't owe the muttafukers that hate him anything. That be you rethugs.

If Clinton had taken out Bin Laden, Republicans would have screamed "murder". We both know it. 9/11 hadn't happened. Republicans refused to listen to Mrs. Clinton just last year about embassy security. Now it's her fault.
