BUT, I haven't yet seen any of them wonder, "what ELSE have you lied to us about?" That's the BIG question. They need to go down THAT road honestly before the light finally goes on.

If Trump is confirmed to be on on the list itself, it would obliterate public trust in American leadership. We are already at that point anyway. His base is rightfully pissed off about this, and his recent posts on Truth Social show that everyone disapproves of the way he is handling this.

Until Trump can roll out some concrete proof about the list, people aren't going to trust him. The cat is out of the bag, and there is no putting this back in. He could at least do some damage control over this, hold some Press Conferences and go over the evidence, etc, but he isn't doing that right now. He wants you to forget it even exists.

How could you trust the next elected candidate, with what is going on right now? How could you trust the cabinet, Congress, the Justices? You can't trust any of them.

They said that the DOJ was destroying files as soon as Trump won.

Everything they had that would point to anyone important was destroyed. Just like the Jan 6th Committee destroyed most of their files before turning over the evidence to the GOP.
