I am far more leftist, liberal, progressive than anyone here, and clearly the reality is Putin is the good guy in this situation.
The Ukraine has ALWAYS been about the single most corrupt country in the world.
They not only sided with Hitler in WWII, but ran the death camps.
And the Ukraine should NOT own Donetsk or the Crimea.
They have always been Russian for over 1000 years, and were part of Russia until Khrushchev gave them to the Ukrain as a bribe in 1955.
But that is not all.
The Ukraine also was convicted by the World Court for stealing over $20 billion worth of gas and oil from Russian pipelines running through the Ukraine.
Anyone supporting the Ukraine on this is of very low moral character, because clearly the principle of self determination means that Donetsk and the Crimea should be able to choose, and their 85% Russian population clearly have chosen Russia as their country.

Russia was never remotely Marxist, and it is not even clear what Marxism could mean, since Karl Marx never really define Marxism.
