Georgia and Arizona Republicans have. This, of course, isn’t surprising. The GOP have always been spineless hypocrites.

I guess that's why the 9th Circuit Court has the reutation for legislating law for Democrats...

Is this supposed to mean something? What are you even talking about?

Once again, "Packing the court" doesn't mean appointing conservative judges to lower courts. It doesn't even pertain to the lower courts.

It means changing the number of Justices on the Supreme Court, by way of Congressional legislation, then appointing more SC Justices. Which is both something we have never done, and something you would undoubtedly do, if you knew you could get away with it.

Nor did we come up with the "Nuclear Option", or change the rules of Congress on the fly, as did Harry Reid and little Chuckie Schumer.

How many more times do we have to have this conversation?

Hey, idiot, maybe you should, you know, read the article? Arizona’s governor signed a bill in 2016 to expand the state’s court from 5-7 seats.

The additional justices were necessary in order to put Arizona on par with states that have similar or smaller populations yet more Supreme Court justices. States like Nevada, Colorado, Washington, Wisconsin and Massachusetts.

Adding more justices ensured that the court could increase its efficiency, could hear more cases, and issue more opinions. It had nothing to do with "conservative vs. liberal", as does the idea of a Biden administration packing the Supreme Court in order to override a conservative majority.

Like it or not, you're stuck with the current SC until which time you Democrats if ever, return to power, and a seat becomes open.

In other words, suck it. ACB is going to be confirmed to her seat on the SC, as well as however many more Trump will be lucky enough to oversee during his second term.

You’re such a moron. You’re just making up justification as you go along lol. Before you claimed this was some big misinterpretation on my part. Now you say this shit?

Umm... I don't live in either of those states. I have no say, nor should I, how they choose to do their courts so long as they don't break federal law.

Oh gee what a convenient defense lol

Sorry, Bubba. I fail to see how this thread is either going to prevent ACB from being sworn in, or make me feel guilty about it.

You can't change anything.

Oh trust me I don’t expect such a thing. Republicans are shameless hypocrites. Can’t do anything about that.
