Voters are fickle and impatient, but I think 6 years is long enough for policy changes to start taking effect so the vote can be more informed.

Here is some real election reform.

1) Shorten the Cycle- Primaries in September, Conventions in October, Election in November. Done.

2) Equal time- Every politician should get equal access to espouse his positions.

3) Get rid of donation limits direct to campaigns. The problem with all the Dark Money is that the politicians don't control their own messages anymore.
