Sen. John Ensigns approval rating in his home state of Nevada has plummeted amid revelations that he had an affair with a staffer, a new poll released Sunday found.
The poll, conducted by Mason-Dixon Polling & Research Inc. for the Las Vegas Review-Journal, found just 39 percent of the states voters having a favorable impression of Ensign. Thirty-seven percent said they view Ensign negatively.
