Those who bought into the "Trump is bad" movement may have constituents who live out in remote areas, and have political attitudes like in the 50s where it didn't matter so much whether you were a Republican or Democrat so long as you brought that flag in before sundown when it mattered due to their valued neighbor or family member who lost a beloved son in WWII. My Grandmother instructed me to particularly love a widow couple of doors down because she lost both a husband and a son in the war when we were lucky and didn't lose anyone even though every man in her family returned home without a scratch except my Dad who came home with multiple inoperable shrapnel wounds in shoulders, legs, and torso. He also lost a lot of hearing from too much excessive gunshots where he served. That war made people care for each other a lot. We don't have that much love for one another any more. It's not the same world. We would be well served to learn respect as a requirement, because competiveness or something has replaced brotherly love. In some states with severe winter weather and expansive wide open spaces, people are closer because they have to be. So political details are less important than checking up on someone who lives near, yet far where there's lots of winter dangers yet fewer people.
