Poor little elephants. They whine about Socialism, they snivel about massive widespread voter fraud, they wail about big government, deep state conspiracies, they lie about about the lefties coming to take their guns away, and they grouse about Joe Biden's age -

- it isn't working!

6 + months of Republican mudslinging hasn't put a dent in Joe Biden's popularity or agenda, both of which remains 10-15 points higher than that of former President Trump.

The popular COVID relief bill passed with little or no GOP support, and now Biden / Harris and the Democrats are on the verge of passing an equally popular infrastructure bill, as a growing group of GOP lawmakers break ranks with the Trump wing of the GOP.

The Biden / Harris team soldier on, as little Donald fumes, his legal woes grow, and his grip on the GOP weakens.

Sling all the mud you want little elephants, but old Joe knows how to win! :bye1:

Nothing new from the Biden Administration, more spending as if somehow "printing money" is going to solve all of their problems.

Talk about "Mudslinging isn't working".... :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg:

That's Socialism! More control over your tax dollars and Individuality.

The government should be going back to helping their American people, not controlling them what they should or should not do...as they always seem to be doing the total opposite.

Now, that's that working for you?

A wet sandwich could beat Trump's approval numbers. It's really not that hard, however, you're wrong about Biden's popularity. It is slowly receding and the polls are showing it. However, you are right that it's not because of Republican mudslinging. It's solely due to the Biden Administration floundering.

You wouldn't know socialism if it jumped up and bit you in the ass.

You must be under 30, so you wouldn't know nothing about Socialism today...
For those under age 30, things like the Berlin Wall and the Cold War are part of a historical narrative that can only be comprehended from textbooks. The personal knowledge and memory of how socialism looks, how it was regarded, and the inherent dangers that it carries in its wake remain—to a large extent—with the older generation of Americans.

That’s one of the reasons there is a new interest among today’s young people in the idea of socialism. There is a popular movement that carries the notion that a socialist economy can be modified to be democratized and to provide a better overall lifestyle than our current capitalist economy. The idea has been labeled “democratic” socialism and is promoted by many Americans as a utopian solution.

It is only thirty years since socialist regimes collapsed economically around the globe, leaving in their wake a death toll of tens of millions. We have seen the same pattern repeated in Venezuela in only the last twenty years. How do today’s defenders of socialism try to cover up this history and justify the ideology that supported such murderous regimes?

One tactic that today’s socialists employ is to portray the lessons of history and world affairs as irrelevant to their cause. They claim that the Soviet Union, Communist China, Communist Cuba, and today’s regime in Venezuela are not real examples of socialism at all. Real socialism, you may have heard them say, has never been tried.

What makes people think this is true? What do they mean by “socialism” and is their view even plausible?

Socialism, in a standard definition, means public ownership of the means of production, which implies the abolishing of private property and ending the capitalist system of free trade and free markets. This is often understood to mean state ownership of the means of production.

Without the Lame Stream Media covering for Joe Biteme, what has he done that made people think he is popular? Kill the Keystone pipeline that nixed 10s of thousands of high paid union jobs? Have gasoline prices necessarily skyrocket? Food prices increase? Housing prices increase? Lumber and other building materials costs increase? Watch 10s of thousands of diseased illegals crossing the border being jetted to cities all over the US to infect vaccinated people with the Kung Flu Delta? Yeah, i can see what Joe Biteme is so popular with stupid people.....Shame they never call me and ask my opinion...

You seem to have confused communism with socialism.

The Nordic countries are socialist. Nothing like your description

How did that Russian Collusion go, millions of dollars wasted and the liars of the Dems got away with it. Stormy Daniels, yep didnt go anywhere. All the other bullshit progressives mudslinging, and still President Trump got 75 million votes, while Joe Biteme, stayed in his basement because he knew after all the ballots were counted, he was going to win...

So you think socialism works, tell me dumbass, if a lot of people work, but 1/4 of the people dont work, is this a good thing?

If it is a good thing, then lets say 1/4 of the working people get angry that they have to work, while 1/4 of the people dont work, so that 1/4 quits working.

If the 1/2 working realize that the other 1/2 isnt working, then they quit, who does the job?

At that point Socialism becomes Communism because the government with the point of a gun, forces everyone to have to work. It always ends this way, every socialist country turns into communist, because there are lazy liberal assholes who dont want to work......

You are an idiot.. Go study history of the USSR, Cuba, Venezuela...

socialism
Both socialism and communism are essentially economic philosophies advocating public rather than private ownership, especially of the means of production, distribution and exchange of goods (i.e., making money) in a society. Both aim to fix the problems they see as created by a free-market capitalist system, including the exploitation of workers and a widening gulf between rich and poor.

In communism, a violent revolution in which the workers rise up against the middle and upper classes is seen as an inevitable part of achieving a pure communist state. Socialism is a less rigid, more flexible ideology. Its adherents seek change and reform, but insist on making these changes through democratic processes within the existing social and political structure, not overthrowing that structure.

Read this slowly.

They are NOT the same thing.

I was 30 almost 30 years ago LOL. Yes, I remember the Soviet Union and East Germany, they were communist, not socialist. They were a command economy, not a demand economy. And funny, you most be so old you forgot about Norway, or Denmark, or Sweden. They are more socialist than Cuba or Venezuela ever was. You just don't like the example they provide.

Yes, Socialism is when the state owns the means of production. Think the TVA, North Dakota Mills or the State bank of North Dakota. And sometimes, well it is best when the state owns the means of production. Health Care, the energy sector are two good examples. But within a Socialist Democracy, prices are not set by the state, production schedules are not dictated by the state. The "free market" is how price is determined and production planned. And to be perfectly honest, there are many examples of a socialist state owned enterprise, like say North Dakota Mill and Grain Elevator, resulting in a market more free than one devoid of state owned enterprises.
