Republican files impeachment against judge who ruled against Trump deportations

I thought you guys said that no one is above the law? Don't you think we should at least have a trial. If the judge has done nothing wrong then you have nothing to worry about, right?

Impeachment is literally a trial. It's not an automatic conviction. (Except for the fact that a sitting judge behaved in a fashion as to raise the question of whether he should or shouldn't be impeached)

The era of Judicial Restraint (where judges stayed out of politics and simply adjudicated the Law) has disappeared....now they are rewriting our Constitution and adjudicating things they have zero authority over or in complete defiance of the laws/constitution they preside over.

Which is why they are garnering the trial to see whether they will be replaced or not.
