Republican Advantages

Trump's populism is based on a great economy and prosperity, for everyone.
Merit based everything and no race anything, just colorblindness.

American satisfaction with how things are going in the U.S. has slipped to its lowest point since President Donald Trump took office, according to a September poll from Gallup.

The poll, conducted from Sept. 2-16, found 29% of Americans said they are satisified, and Republicans account for most of the decline from 31% in August, according to Gallup...

When asked about the “most important problem facing this country ... mentions of crime or violence have more than doubled over the past month, rising from 3% in August to 8% in September — the highest level since August 2020, and before that, 2002," Gallup reported...

"National unity" was also found by Gallup to be a growing concern, mentioned at the highest rate since January 2021 following the riots at the U.S. Capitol.

In a Gallup poll conducted from Sept. 2-16, 40% approved of Trump's job performance, unchanged from the previous month.

A historical analysis by Gallup shows Trump's approval ratings in September of his first years in office − both as the 45th and 47th presidents − are lower than any other modern president at the same time in their administrations.

Carter was a one term disaster. The unions and working classs have left the democrats after 4 years of Bidens stupidity
History HN News Network

Average real GDP growth under Carter was 3.4%, a figure surpassed by only three postwar presidents: John F. Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson, and Bill Clinton. Even though unemployment generally increased after the 1960s, the average number of jobs created per year was higher under Carter than under any postwar president...

Under Carter, the annual federal deficit was consistently low, the national debt stayed below $1 trillion, and gross federal debt as a percentage of GDP peaked below forty percent, the lowest of any presidency since the 1920s. During his final year in office, the debt-to-GDPratio was 32% and the deficit-to-GDP ratio was 1.7%. In the ensuing twelve years of Reagan and Bush (1981-1993), the debt quadrupled to over $4 trillion and the debt-to-GDP ratio doubled. The neoliberal policies popularly known as Reaganomics had plenty of fans, but in the process of lowering taxes, reducing federal regulations, and increasing defense spending, conservatives all but abandoned balanced budgets.

Your post defeats itself. Here is the bottom line copied from your post:

Trump is at 40% and democrats are at 19%, do the math.

That must be why his popularity is in the tank with rational people, those outside the cult of personality.
Leftists make no sense at all.

Probably why their approval is in the toilet.

Thats called cherry picked data. I ownerd two retail stores under Carter he was a disaster

Carter created stagflation a deep recession with interest rates as high as 18%, the worst S&L bank failure in history, the Iran problem and the Community reinvestment act caused the mortgage recession under Bush. Carter was defeated after one term in a landslide. That doesnt happen when you do a good job.

Reagan after bringing down the USSR created 10 years of prosperity. TEFRA cut taxes and deductions, he gave money back to the states called revenue sharing. Reagan forced democrats to face the failure of their policies. They never learn. Then Biden did it all over again. Trump is repeating the same process.

Carter's presidency was destroyed y the Iranian Revolution of 1979. Carter was not responsible for that. President Eisenhower was. Eisenhower authorized efforts by the CIA to help overthrow the democratically elected government of Iran and install the Shah as absolute monarch. The Shah was never a popular monarch. The Iranians hated the United States for installing him. When he was overthrown the Iranians expressed their hatred by raising the price of petroleum and taking those working at the U embassy hostage.
Carter refused to support the Shah and called Khomeini the Ghandi of Iran. Carter caused the Iran problem we have today.

I think democrats have the advantage in an otherwise equal registration mostly because of the left leaning TDS media and also because hatred is a strong emotion and the reaction to the Kirk assassination among democrats proves that they are full of it these days and they can't let it go.

You were extrapolating from your own experience. I discussed Carter's effects on the entire economy.

Yeah, ok, hang your hat on generic polls. House races are usually gerrymandered so one party usually wins it.
I remember when polls said that Hillary had a 99% probability of winning. Remember these classics? Never gets old.

2.1 million have switched parties to the GOP before Kirks murder

He WON, that's all i'm saying. AFTER everyone knew he was a standard dem with standard dem positions.
Carter won because his opponent Gerald Ford had the taint of Nixon and pardoning Nixon upon him, wasn't deserved but it was what it was.

Besides the general impression was that Carter was a nice guy, which he was, unfortunately for the country he was politically incompetent.

... and then along comes Ronald Reagan, with his western charm and his olive oil voice and he completely wrecks the Democrats, just like Donald Trump is doing. :)

The great majority of people are conservative at heart.
It is unfortunate Donald Trump and MAGA are diametrically opposed to conservatism and morality.

Charlie Kirk was a hater. He had a heart full of nothing but hate. His soul is roasting in hell, where you will one day join him.
