I am 76 y.o., and a big part of my life is getting outdoors and doing stuff outside. Golfing, biking, hiking, simple walks in the neighborhood. Ten thousand steps a day is a mantra.
This Winter has been worse than any in recent memory. No golfing, no biking (not safe with ice on the pavement), and even walking is somewhat hazardous and not worth the effort. I still go to the gym 5 days a week, but it's not the same as getting outside.
Is it any wonder that it affects our temperament?
I will be heading down to Florida (the Villages) for the months of February and March. Can't wait.
