The magaturd congressional infighting begins. Wonderful.

Massie said in a post on Twatter: "On January 3rd, 2025, I won't be voting for Mike Johnson. I hope my colleague will join me because history will not give America another 'do-over.'"

Massie was also critical of the orange bag 'O shit's previous pick, Paul Ryan, and blames this for losing the House majority.

"On January 3rd, 2017 Paul Ryan was elected Speaker by every Republican except me," said the seven-term representative. "Ryan went on to offer a fake repeal of ObamaCare, increased spending, backed the deep state, and didn't fund a wall. Two years later we lost the majority and democrats made a living hell for Trump."

Disaster administration 2.0 here we come.

Good for him.

He should vote the way he wants. Democrats have to vote lockstep like drone fucks.

Massie should do what he and his constituents want.

MIT grad. Smart motherfucker.

I am not going to vilify him for not being a sheep. He can do what he wants.

He might even change his mind, and he can do that as well.

Certainly. But it's gonna be difficult to get anything done without a Speaker.

Excellent post Colonel. Because we don't march in lockstep like the DRONES, they think there is something wrong with us. They do not understand this last election, they showed their bare a**es, lol.

Joe is brilliant! He runs circles around us! Oh wait, remove his old incompetent a** from the ticket!

They showed in 2 months what we have been accusing them of, and they denied for YEARS! They have been caught, and while things can change in politics, from what I see, they are DOA!

Who is massie gonna vote for?

Hakeem gazoontite?

......."said the seven-term representative"......There's the problem right there.....14 fuckin' years (and counting) in the House and you wonder why nothing gets done.

". . . Rep. Thomas Massie (R–Ky.), the libertarian-adjacent lawmaker who holds a post on the powerful House Rules Committee, tells The Wall Street Journal that he will vote against Johnson's reelection as speaker. And he apparently doesn't care what consequences he might face for complicating the speakership vote.

"I don't know how to say this without cussing," Massie told the Journal. "If they thought I had no Fs to give before, I definitely have no Fs to give now." (That's possibly the second-best Massie quote of all time, though it's still well behind his 2017 theory of what Republican primary voters are doing.)

Specifically, Massie is upset with Johnson over his support for military aid to Ukraine, his support for reauthorizing a domestic spying program, and his handling of the continuing resolution drama last month. Trump's "endorsement of Mike Johnson is going to work out about as well as his endorsement of Speaker Paul Ryan," Massie posted on X this week.

Massie, it's worth noting, opposed the ouster of McCarthy, which eventually led to Johnson ascending to the House's highest post. Just before McCarthy got the boot, Massie warned that the next speaker would likely be worse and that ongoing chaos in the House would give greater leverage to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D–N.Y.) on issues that really matter, like spending. . . . OP, I thought “MASSIVE” was some kind of blast at Massie. :laughing0301:

I see you fixed the typo. :113:

First off, Massie isn't MAGA. He endorsed DeSantis over Trump before DeSantis dropped out.
And Mike Johnson, A real MAGA turd, who's also endorsed by Trump, is a left leaning RINO. Just like Trump.

And I don't know why the left doesn't like Johnson. Or Trump for that matter. They're the best democrat-like politicians the left could ask for.

Speaker holds one seat.

there are 99 others to get things done.
Friday is the opening of the 119th Congress, and without a speaker, the House is paralyzed. They can't even swear in new members. All they can do is keep voting until someone gets a majority.

If they haven't elected a new speaker, they can't convene a joint session to certify the electoral count. If it goes on until January 20, it gets weird. Biden and Harris will be out, and there would be no speaker.

Chuck Grassley will be the president pro tempore of the Senate, so based on the order of succession. he would become the acting President.

I don't disagree.
