Nunes failed in his attempt to move his civil suit to Virginia. His excuses were flimsy.

He won't win his lawsuit. The First Amendment guarantees that he loses. He knows it too.

Nunes is a frivolous fool.

We already know Nunez is whining. I'm more interested in what is being said by his Mom or his cow.

This decision is not a surprise since CNN can afford to hire the best lawyers. Hopefully Nunes can get justice anyway.

Nunes' background is in agriculture, not law, and he needs better lawyers. Venue and jurisdiction are basic law-school studies. Why was this action filed in Virginia when the case has just about no links to the state? Could Nunes' attorneys have thought that if the case was dismissed in the Virginia, which is likely given the body of libel/defamation law, the dismissal would be appealed to the Fourth Circuit, which has somewhat of a "conservative" reputation, but the Second Circuit would get the appeal if it went to New York.

Moreover, why was it filed in the Richmond Division of the Eastern District of Virginia rather than the Alexandria Division, which is just a few metro stops from the U.S. Capitol? Judge Payne is way south in Richmond.

The judge just applied the usual, time-honored analysis in transferring the case to New York.

These libel/defamation cases are getting crazy and they are a waste of everyone's time.
