A federal appeals court on Thursday rejected a request by Sen. Lindsey Graham to block a subpoena for his testimony before a Georgia grand jury investigating former President Donald Trump for election interference.

Graham, R-S.C., had asked the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals to stay an order compelling his testimony issued by a federal district judge in Georgia pending his appeal of that decision.

“Senator Graham has failed to demonstrate that he is likely to succeed on the merits of his appeal,” the 11th Circuit said in its ruling Thursday.

Another Repub who thought he was above the law.

“(C)ommunications and coordination with the Trump campaign regarding its post-election efforts in Georgia, public statements regarding the 2020 election, and efforts to ‘cajole’ or ‘exhort’ Georgia election officials” are not legislative activities protected by the Speech and Debate Clause of the Constitution, the three-judge panel ruled.

Graham has only himself to blame, associating with the likes of Trump.

Why doesn't he just testify and get it over with. He clearly is hiding something. Republicans seem to think that laws don't apply to them.

Supreme Court Clears Way For Graham To Face Questioning In Georgia Election Probe.

The Supreme Court on Tuesday cleared the way for Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) to face questioning before a grand jury investigating 2020 election interference in Georgia, while emphasizing that the inquiry must abide by constitutional safeguards for lawmakers.

The court’s move was a legal setback for Graham, one of several high-profile Trump allies whom Atlanta-area prosecutors have pursued as part of a probe into the potentially criminal effort to disrupt the 2020 election in Georgia in favor of former President Trump.

So does Graham take the Fifth?

Boy would that be used against him next election

Actually this ruling is as wrong as Dread Scott.
Separation of Powers for the three branches of Government protects Graham and President Trump from political harassment like this.

Graham's recourse should be two fold: Find a different grounds to appeal the judgment.
2ndly, offer to testify only if his testimony is live, unedited, and broadcast to the public.

Actually what you are calling "Harassment", is an attempt by Senator "Fainting Couch" Graham to condone, encourage and support Election Fraud.
