There are 2 sides to the coin. There are many landlords who depend on the rent they receive from a property to pay the mortgage on their property, or lose it. And to pay their own bills, and food for their family. If the renter received money from the government to keep them from harm and they instead decided to harm the owner of the home they are living in, then consequences will and should follow.
Landlords are not obligated to give you a free home...
