These scales used to offend me as well.

But then I started going to a doctor with a European education who used a metric scale and my weight plummeted to 125. My weight hadn't been that low since I was 13, and all it took was a switch from pounds to keys.

My Dr. told me not to worry too much unless they have to roll out a meat hook to weigh me.

I haven't verified this on Snopes, but it sounds legit.… A recent study found that women who carry a little extra weight live longer than the men who mention it.

I wish that I could be that light again, but at the end of the day, I can't complain considering how much I weighed a year ago which was 240. On March 28th of this year, I was as far down as 150. Now I am around 165.
