12-foot golden statue of Trump holding Bitcoin unveiled outside US Capitol

I'm glad I invested in crypto currency.
Cool. I haven't, but then, I am older, so have to invest more conservatively at this age. Has it been a steady gain or do you speculate on new cripto offerings, trying to maximize early run up, before switching, or have you been rolling with the same funds since the crypto fad started, enjoying a steady rise? Are you making a bundle or just enough to stay interested in the game?

I'm making a steady stream of income but I also know a lot about this type of currency. People need to educate themselves on crypto before investing.

Makes sense. If I were 20+ years younger, I would probably be more attracted to, at least dabbling. I confess, I am obviously not well schooled in this area. Last finance and investing course taken was prior to grad back in 2005. still, I am sure, it could be a beneficial part of a diversified investment strategy.

He's a great investor. It's why he's a billionaire and you are not, your envy is priceless and frankly, kind of sad. You are a waste.
That wasn't investing, Son.

There's a difference.

Imagine if we had all purchased just $20 worth of bitcoin when it was worth a penny a coin or something like that?

Man, the world has changed.

Glenn Beck said he bot at $14 just on a lark.

More garbage from MSN. Interesting the article states all of this thinly veiled text designed to discredit the subject of the statue, but amazingly these, LOL, journalists don't have any idea who installed it. Not a word. The closest was in these paragraphs. Who are the 'Oraganisers'? Members of what Group? Just the type of disingenuous garbage I have come to expect from the OP. Ironic that she prides herself in her ability to collect data--except when it does nothing to promote her point.

"Organisers said the piece is intended to provoke debate about the future of digital currency, monetary policy, and the federal government's role in financial markets," according to reports.

Group members said the statue paid tribute to Trump's outspoken support for cryptocurrency and is expected to draw attention from observers throughout the day.

Yeah I read the news story but couldn't stop thinking about this scene in the movie "The Lorax". The news article describes the statue as "striking" but I think it looks just a gaudy as the statue of Aloysius O'Hare, the "greedy dirtbag" who found a way to sell people bottled air.

A giant and striking 12-foot golden statue of President Donald Trump holding a Bitcoin has been installed outside the US Capitol, drawing crowds and controversy. Trump's statue unveiling came just as the Federal Reserve announced a 25-basis-point interest rate cut. According to ABC affiliate WJLA, the statue was funded by cryptocurrency investors.

Several visuals of the statue were posted on social media, praising the president's pro-cryptocurrency stance.
