What did the FBI have on him to turn him into an informant in the first place? The only sane reason to take that deal is to avoid worse. If he would have held out he'd likely have walked on this silly federal plot.

That is the problem with conspiracy theories...you always have to create more conspiracy theories to explain why the original ones fell through.
So are you saying this informant didn't have previous FBI contact? How do you think the FBI recruits snitches? It's not a conspiracy it the FBI SOP.
