They were on a million a day under Trump.Trump was adminstering a million shots a day when Biden doddered in like an old fart.Biden spent the entire emergency in his basement.
When he entered the White House he was handed the Trump Shot on a silver platter.
all the spade work had been done.
There's an old saying. Vaccines don't save lives, vaccinations do. You have to figure out how to get the shots into peoples arms.
A better analogy is a gasoline shortage, like along the east coast when the pipeline got hacked. The hard part was figuring out how to get the supply they had, to where it was needed.
That's the hard part.
Trump wasn't administering anything. But his administration promised 20 million shots by the end of December, 2020.
They had a hard time clearing 2 million. And let's not forget at the time, Biden was assembling his COVID task force and was making
more progress on planning for fighting the virus than Trump did in 10 months. All while being denied a smooth transition.
Trump was busy sending his D-Team out to the swing states to file groundless lawsuit after lawsuit, requesting recounts and audits, and
blaring to any alt-right media outlet that would listen that the election was "FRAUDULENT!!"
U.S. COVID-19 vaccine rollout nears 1 million doses per day
(HealthDay)—One month after the United States began what has become a troubled rollout of a national COVID vaccination campaign, the effort is finally gathering real steam.medicalxpress.com
LOL. Trump had already LONG vacated his position by this time. After 11/3/2020, he was rarely heard from again..until January 6, 2021.
In short, he had nothing to do with it. And he was the one who ignored the virus in the first place, allowing it to spread unchecked for almost four months
while he golfed, tweeted, and held his pep rallies shadowing the Democratic primaries.
