With the [Left/Far Left] Labor Party likely to win the May 2022 federal election [the world is turning Leftist...one woman who rang the radio alleged that : "schools and universities today are left-wing voter factories"]............
..................if what happened last time the Labor Party won an election, in 2007, is any guide....the"Refugee"/ "Asylum-seeker" / "Economic immigrant" / "People-smuggling" boats, call them what you will, ...will likely to be on the seas again steaming for Australia.
By 2007, the LNP [Liberal Party (Conservatives) and National Party (rural, regional, semi-rural Conservatives)] Coalition had stopped all the boats and had no one in detention.
Then came the 2007 election...Labor Party leader Kevin Rudd ["Kevin 07" T shirts campaign], promised 'me too'.
Once elected 'me too' became "racist and too harsh" [about the LNP's "Pacific Solution" policy for the boats and their cargo.
So the floodgates were opened once again.
50,000 passengers arrived on 800 boats, ...1,000+ didn't make it, drowned at sea.
Free housing, free welfare cash for life, $10,000 free start-up packs [whitegoods etc]......the "taxi service" from Indonesia etc was in full swing.
Every morning radio host Ray would sound his fog horn, letting listeners know another boat had arrived.
