The backbone of the Army and the Marine Corps has always been southern males. The current recruiting repels such people.

The economy is great. Why should they?

The military met recruitment goals many times before when the economy was a lot better than it is now.

Potatohead's inflation has caused tremendous hardships on most American families and, if anything, that would drive more people into the military looking for a meal they could actually afford.

The problem is that the Potatohead administration has told the patriotic White boys, who have always been the heart and soul of the military, that queers, dumbass Negroes, trannies and unqualified women is what the military needs, not them. The military's version of "go woke, go broke".

Outside of MAGA reality, unemployment is 3.7%, far below historic norms. Recruitment is always a problem in good times.
