........CD, This Land. It's quite good. It won a recent Grammy for best modern blues album. There's not much pure blues on this, it's mostly what I would call soulful rock or straight rock and roll. It has a reggae flavored song, as well. Gary is a very impressive guitarist and a fine vocalist. On a couple songs he seems to channel Jimi Hendrix and on others, Prince, Lenny Kravitz and Curtis Mayfield. Very impressive stuff, highly recommended.

"This Land" is VERY anti-Trump and anti-conservative, but I like the music. He seems to channel Hendrix in some of the guitar work on this one. There's only one other overtly political song on the album, thankfully.
