Zone1 Really?

But Genesis tells us who God was talking to and makes the distinction between the Satan and Eve.

Genesis 3:14-24 Then the LORD God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, you are cursed more than all animals, domestic and wild. You will crawl on your belly, groveling in the dust as long as you live. And I will cause hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring.
The term "groveling" isn't found in the Hebrew meanings of "eat". The translation you are using further confuses that narrative. Who or what are the "offspring" of the serpent?

Abel: Offspring of Eve.
Cain: Offspring of the serpent.
Same mother: Eve.

Part of the 'curse' of childbirth is that women would bring forth evil children, offspring of the serpent.

Did you every study the political aspects of the Spanish Inquisition? Getting involved in politics is never a good look or a good outcome for anyone. Ask Abe Lincoln.

Yes I did ... I also know how the Age of Enlightenment is often used as a rebuttal to religion ...
When that's not really the whole story.

It was a period in time ... When some Europeans ... Were attempting to separate from the Roman Catholic Church.
The Catholic Church had been messing way too much in politics ... The Church had its own Army ...
And they gained or maintained their Power ... By leveraging God over the Rulers and the People.

Monarchies were established and traded in favor ... Based on the idea their rulers were chosen by God ...
Simply because a child was born to their parents ... And the Church controlled a great deal of who was marrying who ...
What was ordained and what was not ... With the blessing of the Pope.

So ... The Age of Enlightenment ... Was just as much about giving the Roman Catholic Church the boot ... As anything else.
And during a time when that mess had been bloody for a while ...
And folks were looking for an easier way.

Correct. This time was about not leaving power in the hands of those who were in power. The Enlightenment was just as much about taking power from the State as it was about removing it from the Church. The funny thing about this is that the State/Elite were quite happy with throwing the Church to the wolves as long as it could keep as much power and wealth as possible for themselves. To this day the State heartily agrees it was all the fault of the Church as they make their way to the bank. And exercise power.

This being said, I heartily agree the Church should stay out of politics and I favor that part of the Enlightenment period. It is in the best interest of Church/Temple/Synagogue to do so. I will also note that churches/temples/synagogues should be vocal in the public forum about social matters--abortion, marriage-divorce, LGBTQ issues, Salem Witch Trials, etc, keeping in mind that approach should maintain love at all times.

Incorrect. You make the arguments of a young and foolish child.
You say that without referencing any of the bible stories.

You may find one on which we disagree, but I doubt it! I'm being rational and I still believe you can be rational sometimes.

For dog sake my friend, we were both being rational when we came to agreement that the bibles weren't supposed to be always literally true!

I say that because I gave you every opportunity to provide your interpretation and your interpretation was that of a foolish young child. And then you ran away like a pussy.
