Of course Russia didn't have territorial claims in Ukraine. In fact, we don't have them even now. We just changed definition of what is Ukraine and what is not. It is not about territory at all, and never have been. It is about people. Their rights, their dignity and their safety.

Internationally recognized border agreements are not up for double-take. Violation of those borders is why Russia has been declared an aggressor by 140+ countriers including China.

Yes. Ukrainian Nazies (backed by NATO countries) attacked Russian people. Therefore, Ukrainian Nazies (and, may be, if necessary, NATO countries) should be eliminated. They exact way to eliminate them is discutable, of course. The strategy that was choosen was taking former Ukraine by biting out and chewing by relatively small parts, starting from the most strategically important and further coerction of remaining parts of Ukraine in denazification by their own forces.
"If the enemy doesn't surrender - it is to be eliminated". They declared themselves as our enemies and, therefore, they will be eliminated.
