The alternative to Obamacare was/is Reagancare.
In 1986 Ron claimed Reagancare would solve the problem of healthcare for people without means - Ron said, everyone that doesn't have means should be treated in the most expensive way possible and-----and Ron said, taxpayers should pick up the tab then-----then Ron began spewing some kinda nonsense about trickle down economics and the magic of free markets but-----but it didn't work out for most Americans -- total health spending climbed from about 10 percent of gross domestic product when Reagancare was implemented in 1986 to nearly 17 percent in 2009 - that Ron guy was quite the dude, wasn't he?

Of course you have a LINK for that one--- Since you obviously weren't born then--medical insurance was affordable to 99% of Americans--the other 1% of Americans that were poor were covered under Medicade programs.

In fact the issue of health care wasn't even brought up during Reagan, because it wasn't a problem. Reagan focused on the economy--and the result of that was the largest--LONGEST economic boom--that went through the Clinton era--that this nation has ever seen.

But I wouldn't expect an unborn or in diapers "lil Einstein" to know about that--lol

And Oh How True that statement rings in our ears today.
