Rational self interest

Given my idea of the divine in this world (we ARE the divine in this world, "you are gods, all of you, Psalm 82:6]), whatever we do, we do also unto OURSELVES, people. There is rational self interest in helping others, spiritually and materially, and the minute that idea really hits home to everyone, the better this world we share can become.

I was naked, thirsty, hungry, lonely and I fell down in prison.
Someone brought me a coat,
a pepsi,
a hamburger,
visited me,
and helped me up from my fall.
Confused at such a beautiful soul.
I asked.
"Who are you?".
"Why have you done this for a wretch like me?".
I am a Christian.
You shall inherit the earth.
