Rand Paul calls for repeal of Espionage Act after Trump FBI search

You can't access the link without subscribing to the blog but my guess is that Dr. Paul suggested that the espionage act was outdated fifty years ago. It's so freaking preposterous to accuse a former president of espionage that even democrats are embarrassed by the notion. Accusing Trump of espionage is to the TDS crowd like heroin is to a junkie. It's bad for you but it feels so good.
These the same laws that only apply to one political persuasion?
Am I missing something?

Unfortunately, our nation has been in peril ever since the stolen 2020 election and the installation of this globalist-socialist climate-terrorist boob Joe Biddum. He's now conducted a Watergate-style raid in desperation on the one man who stands to depose him and expose all his lies, corruption and crimes.
What has the repub party become? They have stoopsed so low as to try and repeal any law that it appears Trump has beoken.
They are willing to allow foreign adversaries access to our national secrets in order to protect Trump. THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE!
No one is embarrassed....although trump should be. He has broken laws and acted competently every since he won in November 2016.
He claims he declassified the docs. If that is true...why would anyone want someone who is so unconcerned about national security back in the WH? Some of the documents marked TOP SECRET.
What was his plans for the documents?

There are generally two kinds of people moving the party these days. The first are most numerous. They crave some sort of simple Mayberry kind of existence where big city problems never intrude. I'm convinced if Trump had his hands on national security documents he's shared them with Putin given their bromance.Yesterday NPR had an expert on that explained how no Trump can't do that with highly classified information. There's a process for declassifying information. Otherwise Putin or Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud get their hands on it.

Last thing I noticed was Trump has appointed justices who rule as per the constitution and not by politics.....like it should be, not how the left wants it to be.

Why didn't Trump or one of his many minions mention this "standing order" to the FBI back in June?
