Rand Paul calls for repeal of Espionage Act after Trump FBI search

You can't access the link without subscribing to the blog but my guess is that Dr. Paul suggested that the espionage act was outdated fifty years ago. It's so freaking preposterous to accuse a former president of espionage that even democrats are embarrassed by the notion. Accusing Trump of espionage is to the TDS crowd like heroin is to a junkie. It's bad for you but it feels so good.
These the same laws that only apply to one political persuasion?So....Rand Paul is willing to destroy laws that have kept our nation safe for decades in order to protect Donald J trump. Am I am missing something?

Unfortunately, our nation has been in peril ever since the stolen 2020 election and the installation of this globalist-socialist climate-terrorist boob Joe Biddum. He's now conducted a Watergate-style raid in desperation on the one man who stands to depose him and expose all his lies, corruption and crimes.
What has the repub party become? They have stoopsed so low as to try and repeal any law that it appears Trump has beoken.These people are authoritarians at heart. No institution, law or tradition is safe if it stands in their way. Once you finally accept this you will cease to be shocked when they rip and tear at the things we used to think held fascism in check.
They are willing to allow foreign adversaries access to our national secrets in order to protect Trump. THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE!

He claims he declassified the docs. If that is true...why would anyone want someone who is so unconcerned about national security back in the WH? Some of the documents marked TOP SECRET.
What was his plans for the documents?

I'm convinced if Trump had his hands on national security documents he's shared them with Putin given their bromance.Yesterday NPR had an expert on that explained how no Trump can't do that with highly classified information. There's a process for declassifying information. Otherwise Putin or Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud get their hands on it.

That not a single person knew about until the FBI searched his house. Weird.
Why didn't Trump or one of his many minions mention this "standing order" to the FBI back in June?

Rand is not his father.It's ok Tommy. You've got some dodgy assholes in political life of your country too, so you know how it is. If it will help, I'll say it for you, as I don't like him anyway. Rand is a piece of shit, not true to his supposed libertarian stance, while supporting republicans like trump for popularity. He can't even get along with his neighbors. Lots of thinking people, do not think much of Rand and try to think of him as rarely as possible. Like a spoiled child, I like him best when he is sound asleep.
