The bill now heads to the majority-Republican Senate for a vote. The top Republican in the House, Rep. Austin McCollum, sponsored the measure and noted Confederate Flag Day was enacted in response to the 1957 desegregation of Little Rock Central High School. Gov. Asa Hutchinson said in a statement the measure makes sense to him and he plans to sign it if it reaches his desk."

I think he makes a fine point... Equating the KKK to BLM is ignorance and he made that point pretty damn clear. If BLM is found responsible for destruction or violence then they should be held to account but I haven't seen many reports of the organization being responsible for the actions of individuals who are involved in riots. Even then it is a completely different league than what the KKK and other WS groups have done throughout our history. So lets not equate the two, agreed?
