The problem with you following it is the fact that I live as a black person, and your following it is not living it. It's really time whites shut up with their opinion unless that opinion can quantify the economic impact of lost income, and government polices that provided whites with economic assistance while denying blacks the same.I've been following this particular issue for some time now and the correct assessment, aside from the loony Leftists like IQ2, Shitlips, etc. is that fatherless homes and increased illegitimacy rates are the leading factors here, but this also goes across all racial boundaries as I have seen whites in the same mess. Having said that, it should also be noted that prominent blacks who dare speak out about urban "hood" culture are branded as sellouts, race traitors, Uncle Toms/Aunt Jemimahs, etc. I remember some, including Denzel Washington (I think) speak out about this and they were pilloried by the very people they are pleading to.
Whenever a white --- starts talking about what LBJ did, he shows just how much he doesn't know. And the sme thing goes for dumb right wing blacks who pander to white racists for approval.
All rise.
Tonights lesson:
White ---- need to STFU thinking their feelings can be used as facts.
So we see the standard idiocy here but LBJ and more idiocy cosigning it.
First off, it was a black woman that ended the man in the house welfare rule created by conservatives in the 1960's.
"Under the man-in-the-house rule, a child who otherwise qualified for welfare benefits was denied those benefits if the child's mother was living with, or having relations with, any single or married able-bodied male. The man was considered a substitute father, even if the man was not supporting the child.
Before 1968 administrative agencies in many states created and enforced the man-in-the-house rule. In 1968 the U.S. Supreme Court struck down the regulation as being contrary to the legislative goals of the Aid to Families of Dependent Children (AFDC) program."

The case ws King vs. Smith.
King vs. Smith was a Supreme Court decision that said Aid to Families with Dependent Children (AFDC) could not be withheld because of the presence of a "substitute father" who visited a family on weekends. This was a unanimus decisin made in 1968.
The root cause of the problems blacks face is white racism. White racism creates unemployed or underemployed black men who can't provide for their families.
White racism has resulted in the overincarceration of black men, and based on the percentage of exonerations, a whole lot of innocent black men sit in prison today instead of at home with their families.
Race and Wrongful Convictions in the United States 2022
Black people are 13.6% of the American population but 53% of the 3,200 exonerations listed in the National Registry of Exonerations. Judging from exonerations, innocent Black Americans are seven times more likely than white Americans to be falsely convicted of serious crimes.
Now I really think the white individual who started this thread and has created this garbage in many other threads needs to stop. Because:
The assistance to single women with children part of the Social Security Act passed by FDR provided grants to states as Aid To Dependent Children. Eventually the name of the program was changed to Aid to Families with Dependent Children. This was welfare folks. Assistance for single moms with children and no daddy at home. In 1935. Blacks were excluded. Aid to Dependent Children functioned mainly to provide federal grants to help the states with mothers’ aid laws that began in 1910.
The ADC plan was written by two ladies who had been former directors of what was at the time called the U.S. Children’s Bureau. The Children’s Bureau’s goal was to provide aid to all children whose mothers had no support from a husband no matter how they got into that position. From the Children’s Bureau in 1910 until 1965, no one talked about how the welfare state was wrong and created the disintegration of the white family. I read no lectures about the irresponsible white father. The program was not denigrated as something creating dependence on government; it was seen as essential assistance needed to help women without husbands who had children.

So again what we see here is the governments willingness to subsidize whites in order to help them survive while denying blacks the same chance, then once they do suddenly there hasy to be extra rules or that somehow the program is wrong. This is white racism and it has been a consistent problem for us a blacks folks and no white man can sit on his rear end behind a computer and think he can declre thatracismis nt the probem and therefore it is so. Nor can the same whites use utterances from bootlicking blacks thinking that vaidates their belief.
“As late as 1950, only 18% of black households were single parent. From 1890 to 1940, a slightly higher percentage of black adults had married than white adults. In 1938, black illegitimacy was about 11% instead of today’s 75%. In 1925, 85% of black households in New York City were two-parent. Today, the black family is a mere shadow of its past.”
-Walter Williams
In 1939, during this time of great black two-parent families, the poverty rate for employed married black couples was 89 percent. In 1959, the poverty rate for that same couple was 54.9 percent. These sky-high rates of poverty occurred during the time “conservatives” rant about. Today due to the “ liberal welfare state breaking up the black family by giving them welfare,” black poverty is half of what it was in 1959 and less than one-third of what it was in those imaginary grand old glorious days of the two-parent black family.
Again, the unwed single mom and absent black father are not the root cause of problems in black communities.
