I lived in a great Catholic neighborhood in the good old days when we used to have a Middle Class.

I worked for this fellow once, who was the branch manager at our location, and getting a raise out of him was like prying gold from his dead hand. And then he wondered why he had such a hard time keeping employees. He was kind of whiny in that his brother was a Hollywood producer and he was just running some crappy pet supply warehouse.

Eventually, they just closed down our branch because they decided it was easier to service customers from Milwaukee. A year later the whole company went out of business.
