My confession

My mother gave me a King James Bible when I was a child. Seventy-one (71) years later I still have it. My bible has numerous marker tags highlighting what I found interesting and worth reminding me of for future review.

I began by reading the New Testament which is full of the teachings of Jesus Christ. Jesus taught us how to be kind to others, as in the stranger but most of all Jesus used the Book of Ezekiel one of the major prophetic books in the Old Testament. It records six visions of the prophet Ezekiel, exiled in Babylon, during the 22 years from 593 to 571 BC.

The visions, and the book, are structured around three themes: (1) Judgment on Israel (chapters 1–24); (2) Judgment on the nations (chapters 25–32); and (3) Future blessings for Israel (chapters 33–48). My confession

My mother gave me a King James Bible when I was a child. Seventy-one (71) years later I still have it. My bible has numerous marker tags highlighting what I found interesting and worth reminding me of for future review.

I began by reading the New Testament which is full of the teachings of Jesus Christ. Jesus taught us how to be kind to others, as in the stranger but most of all Jesus used the Book of Ezekiel one of the major prophetic books in the Old Testament. The scriptures are not difficult to understanding when taken in the correct context and content, that being that not one verse in the Holy Scriptures contradicts another when rightly divided. True doctrine is found only in one place. The Word of God. When you contradict that word you are married to false doctrine. When the men came into the garden of Gethsemane to arrest the Christ the 3 disciples that were with the Christ asked Jesus if they should defend Him, strike in defense.....but, before the Christ could answer Peter took out his sword and cut off the right ear of the High Priest's slave (Malchus). Jesus scolded Peter and told him to put away his weapon.

Jesus then reminded them all if Jesus was not willing to be arrested and fulfill the promise of God He could call upon a greater defense than man had to offer..........He could ask the Father for 12 Legions of Angels (6K per legion). Instead Jesus freely chose to go with those who would eventually sacrifice Him on the cross......but not before He healed the ear of Malchus.

My confession

My mother gave me a King James Bible when I was a child. Seventy-one (71) years later I still have it. My bible has numerous marker tags highlighting what I found interesting and worth reminding me of for future review.

I began by reading the New Testament which is full of the teachings of Jesus Christ. Jesus taught us how to be kind to others, as in the stranger but most of all Jesus used the Book of Ezekiel one of the major prophetic books in the Old Testament. It records six visions of the prophet Ezekiel, exiled in Babylon, during the 22 years from 593 to 571 BC.

The visions, and the book, are structured around three themes: (1) Judgment on Israel (chapters 1–24); (2) Judgment on the nations (chapters 25–32); and (3) Future blessings for Israel (chapters 33–48). Its themes include the concepts of the presence of God, purity, Israel as a divine community, and individual responsibility to God.

During this period Jerusalem was under the rule of the Romans which the local community strongly rejected.

More famous Jewish teachers come from Galilee than anywhere else in the world. They were known for their great reverence for Scripture and the passionate desire to be faithful to it. This translated into vibrant religious communities, devoted to strong families, their country, whose synagogues echoed the debate and discussions about keeping the Torah. They resisted the pagan influences of Hellenism far more than did their Judean counterparts. The crucifixion of Jesus occurred in 1st-century Judea, most likely in either AD 30 or AD 33. In the canonical gospels, Pilate's court refers to the trial of Jesus in praetorium before Pontius Pilate, preceded by the Sanhedrin Trial. In the Gospel of Luke, Pilate finds that Jesus, being from Galilee, belonged to Herod Antipas' jurisdiction, and so he decides to send Jesus to Herod. After questioning Jesus and receiving very few replies, Herod sees Jesus as no threat and returns him to Pilate.

In all four gospels, the Denial of Peter functions as an intermission during the Sanhedrin trial, while Matthew adds an intermission during the trial before Pilate that narrates the suicide of Judas Iscariot.

At the time Jerusalem was part of Roman Judea, the charges of the Sanhedrin against Jesus held no power before Pilate. He was therefore not a political threat and could be seen as innocent of such a charge. [Jn. 18:36]

When the men came into the garden of Gethsemane to arrest the Christ the 3 disciples that were with the Christ asked Jesus if they should defend Him, strike in defense.....but, before the Christ could answer Peter took out his sword and cut off the right ear of the High Priest's slave (Malchus). Jesus scolded Peter and told him to put away his weapon.

Jesus then reminded them all if Jesus was not willing to be arrested and fulfill the promise of God He could call upon a greater defense than man had to offer..........He could ask the Father for 12 Legions of Angels (6K per legion). Instead Jesus freely chose to go with those who would eventually sacrifice Him on the cross......but not before He healed the ear of Malchus.

My confession

My mother gave me a King James Bible when I was a child. Seventy-one (71) years later I still have it. My bible has numerous marker tags highlighting what I found interesting and worth reminding me of for future review.

I began by reading the New Testament which is full of the teachings of Jesus Christ. Jesus taught us how to be kind to others, as in the stranger but most of all Jesus used the Book of Ezekiel one of the major prophetic books in the Old Testament. It records six visions of the prophet Ezekiel, exiled in Babylon, during the 22 years from 593 to 571 BC.

The visions, and the book, are structured around three themes: (1) Judgment on Israel (chapters 1–24); (2) Judgment on the nations (chapters 25–32); and (3) Future blessings for Israel (chapters 33–48). Its themes include the concepts of the presence of God, purity, Israel as a divine community, and individual responsibility to God.

In the canonical gospels, Pilate's court refers to the trial of Jesus in praetorium before Pontius Pilate, preceded by the Sanhedrin Trial. In the Gospel of Luke, Pilate finds that Jesus, being from Galilee, belonged to Herod Antipas' jurisdiction, and so he decides to send Jesus to Herod. After questioning Jesus and receiving very few replies, Herod sees Jesus as no threat and returns him to Pilate.

In all four gospels, the Denial of Peter functions as an intermission during the Sanhedrin trial, while Matthew adds an intermission during the trial before Pilate that narrates the suicide of Judas Iscariot.

At the time Jerusalem was part of Roman Judea, the charges of the Sanhedrin against Jesus held no power before Pilate. He was therefore not a political threat and could be seen as innocent of such a charge. [Jn. 18:36]

Stepping back outside, Pilate publicly declared that he found no basis to charge Jesus,

clearly LITERATE itinerant----just some questionable hearsay.
Crucified in accordance with Roman law for a serious crime---the
same crime for which Pilate crucified at least 20,000, to wit SEDITION.
The sedition---being a Pharisee and attacking the Roman presence
in the Temple which was a very important issue at that time-----something

Rabbis forced the Romans to crucify the Rabbi Jesus because they saw in him "the king of the Jews" = "a rebell against the Roman hegemony" - so the Romans had no other way than to crucify Jesus while Pontius Pilate wallowed in washing obsessions? This you found out in 71 long years of a truth denying life? Why did you not just simple read Hitlers "Mein K(r)ampf" instead of the bible? In this book you can find out in only one afternoon that Hitler is good and Jews like Jesus are evil.

The Rabbi that ordered to execution of Jesus was Joseph Caiaphas.

The only one who was able to order an execution had been Pontius Pilate. And no Roman had to die on a cross. Different systems of justices. And Joseph, the son of Caiaphas, - normally only called "Caiaphas" -, was in this time of history installed from the Romans.
 
The authors of the Gospels wanted to make it clear that the Roman governor Pontius Pilate found Jesus innocent, but gave into pressure from the Jewish leaders and ordered him killed anyway.

They made also clear that Pontius Pilate was a man who did not believe in truth. Also today exist Pontii Pilates, who don't believe in truth and do what's wrong, independent who suffers because of their decisions, while they wash their hands in innocence and wrong excuses.

Jesus knew, and understood why He came into this world.

He understood that He needed to die for both Jew and gentile. Both are sinners in need of the Blood of Christ. Both killed Him. Every human being killed Him. Until you understand that, you are NOT a Christian.

In the New Testament, the Sanhedrin trial of Jesus refers to the trial of Jesus before the Sanhedrin (a Jewish judicial body) following his arrest in Jerusalem and prior to the trial before Pontius Pilate. It is an incident reported by all three Synoptic Gospels of the New Testament, while John's Gospel refers to a preliminary inquiry before Annas. The gospel accounts vary on a number of details.

Jesus is generally quiet, does not mount a defense, and rarely responds to the accusations, and is found guilty of various offenses: violating the Sabbath law (by healing on the Sabbath), threatening to destroy the Jewish Temple, practicing sorcery, exorcising people by the power of demons, and claiming to be the Messiah. He is then taken to Pontius Pilate, the governor of Roman Judaea, to be tried for claiming to be the King of the Jews.

Thereafter, in Pilate's Court, the Jewish elders (Rabbis) ask Pontius Pilate to judge and condemn Jesus, accusing him of claiming to be the King of the Jews. Such a claim would be considered treasonous, for being a direct challenge to the Roman authorities.

Pilate was the only one that was trying to prevent giving Jesus the death penalty. That is why he ordered the executor to give him 40 slashes. But the Israelites yelled at Pilate saying that they wanted Jesus to be crucified.
It was judgement day at the time. and the people didn't have a worthy sacrifice since they all were living in sin, that everything that they have owned was considered tainted.
And when the people made a Blood covenant or a contract agreement in those times. That both parties who are making the pledge. That they will cut open the animals and let the blood spread all over the ground. And both members of the party walks in a figure eight {which the figure 8 stand for until the cycle runs its course and meet up again at the middle, new beginning} through the blood until they meet up with each other. But while walking through the blood, they will chanted saying that the one that doesn't keep their promises or fulfilled the contract. That whatever happened to these animals that it will be done to them.
But God told Abraham that he cannot walk through the blood because he will be unable to keep his end of the bargain.
But A big flame appeared that represented God. And a small torch that represented Abraham's seeds came from the big flame, and the both walked through the blood. And the small torch will be killed for the people violating the contract.
And the Passover lamb can only be killed by the descendants of Abraham or the ones who were grafted into the family. .
