So, trying to rob a man's car, is anti Semitic? It says the crook initially put a gun to the victim's head, demanding the Rabbi's car keys??? Rabbi ran, the perp chased down then stabbed!!

I suppose it could be for anti Semitic reasons, but seems strange that the Rabbi would be attacked for his car and not just attacked and killed without trying to rob his car if it were merely anti Semitic.
