Hmmmmm, since CNN and NBC have a tiny audience share, and the only people who watch them are failed leftists--------------yeah, great for the dems, they can preach their bullshit to their mental slaves while the rest of the country gets to hear both sides.
NBC is bigger than Fox........MUCH bigger audience
not according to Drudge, when he posts the monthly ratings report, Fox usually holds the top 5 or 6 spots, therefore i respectfully request you prove your
ASSumption......., OK?
One is cable and one is broadcast...no comparison in numbers of homes serviced. If you count MSNBC, CNBC, Telemundo, and a few other NBC Universal properties, NBC has a much larger footprint than Fox does. Of course you could also say the same thing about the Fox network on broadcast TV but they are not using it for news broadcast. Simple arithmetic; NBC has 4 platforms, Fox has 1 for regular news.
But this isn't about viewership or platforms; what it is about is the Fox viewership vs. the viewership of other, more open-minded consumers. Basically, the GOP has determined it will preach to the choir instead of trying to get new converts. When you're in the public relations business (which in essence that is what campaigning is all about), you're fundamentally sabotaging yourself when you refuse to relate to a segment of the public.
Where the GOP may get an advantage--and this is a big "may"--is that since scenes like this regretful exchange won't be on televisions across the nation, the negatives won't build up too far in advance:

This happened on FOX but it could have just as easily been CNN.

Possibly the nail in the GOP coffin for 2012 was driven at that moment. Every nano-second of these debates will be analyzed by the DNC so there won't be any long term benefit to not publicizing gaffes like you see above.
Anyway, this won't be on CNN or NBC. If there actually was a "liberal media" out there, don't you think that CBS and ABC would have Hillary projects in the works tomorrow just to force the GOP into an even more marginal existence?
Some day these rednecks will either run out of bullets or toes...it will be fun to watch which supply depletes first.
