I can understand how Republicans and (especially) the candidates might be pissed off about all this. Dividing them up front early like this really looks like picking the winners and losers. It's certainly possible that someone out of the top 10 could win the nomination, why hamstring them like this?

Seems to me the obvious thing to do is just draw names and have two debates per round with the same topics. Yes, that's more time, but this is fairly important stuff here.

*You could do worse than Walker. By all accounts he is a decent man. I'm not really sure what makes him better (or worse) than a republican junior district attorney in Anytown, USA and his lack of a degree is troublesome. Yes; you can rely on advisers but as a voter, I'm wary of people who do because anonymous Adviser X is not whom I'm voting for and they may have their own agenda.

With each passing day and each speech I listen to from Rubio, he sounds less sure of himself and comes off as someone out of his depth.
