There were horrible people who killed 1200 Jewish people on 10/7/2023. The worst of the worst. It is horrible that approximately 40% of Palestinians support HAMAS, but 60% do not.
They all supported Hamas on 10/7. We know because we've seen the videos of them celebrating. We've heard the hostage testimony that describes the entire population, men, women, children, coming out to lynch Jews. We know that not one single Palestinian lifted a finger to help the hostages get out of Gaza. Even in Nazi Germany, there were Germans who helped get Jews to safety. No such people exist in Gaza.
What we haven't seen is anyone who objected to what Hamas did on 10/7. They have objected to it only after all the consequences of 10/7 have happened. Buyer's remorse is understandable, but let's not pretend that they objected to what Hamas did.
73,000 Palestinians have been killed since 10/7/23. Tens of thosands of innocent Palestinians have been killed.

There will never be a solution as long as so many innocent people are killed, on both sides.
No, there will never be a compromise so long as people indulge the delusion of "resistance" which excuses Palestinian war crimes like human shields, using civilian infrastructure to launch attacks, not wearing uniforms, and recruiting child soldiers. Those are all war crimes.
There will never be a compromise so long as people indulge the delusion of victimhood ("The Nakba") because that excuses Palestinians from ever having to be responsible for governance, accountability, and agency. So they are treated like children and are not expected to hold themselves to account for the atrocities they commit.
And finally, there will never be a compromise so long as people indulge the delusion that one day, Israel will just magically disappear. Indulging that delusion means Palestinians never have to compromise. Why compromise with Israel if one day, it will just disappear because (insert name here) says so? What is the incentive to compromise then?
All Palestinian "activism" falls within these three indulgences, and those three indulgences are the only reasons why there has never been peace.
