There’s a poster here who told me, knowing I’m Jewish, that Jews are “anti-human scum” among other disgusting antisemitic comments, and the initial ruling was that it was merely his opinion and not antisemitic. Another was allowed to use the Nazi symbol as his avator, and it was initially deemed acceptable because, it was judged, that someone who uses that symbol isn’t necessarily antisemitic.

OTOH, if someone called blacks “anti-human scum,” the comment would be deleted and the poster penalized. Same if someone used the Confederate flag as an avator.

My issue is the double standards by which the site is moderated, unfortunately reflecting society in general, where blatantly antisemitic symbols and comments are tolerated. My hope is that as our culture stops tolerating blatant Jew-hate (Pam Bondi will deport non-citizens screeching their hate for Jews and/or support for HAMAS terrorists), the site will move threads that berate Jews with Nazi-level hate to the basement, or locked, rather than allow them to continue.

Agree. I think that is happening.

There undoubtedly was always horrible antisemitism, but under Biden and the Democrats, it became acceptable to scream the most vicious, disgusting comments about us from the public square, and the Dems defended them as “free speech.” At the same time, something as innocuous as the Aunt Jemima logo was deemed offensive to blacks and forced off the shelves.

The double standards among Democrats have been incredible. We have several posters on this forum who scream “racist!!!!” at non-racist statements while spewing antisemitic venom - sometimes within the very same post.
