For starters, a peaceful transition of power. This is a legitimate question for anyone who considers himself/herself a "left-leaning" person.
I realize that not all left-leaning folks agree with each other on all issues. Same is true of Conservatives (although I believe that we're more willing to voice our disagreements than lefties are). But generally speaking, what is it about the left's ideology or philosophy that appeals to you the most? List a few things that you truly believe the left has right as opposed to the counterpoints offered by the right.
Since the Reagans trickle down lie 1981 all the new wealth of this country have gone to the top of the heap ,as all the people who could count said it would , all the hate party people said it would trickle down.Economically, it seems like workers should choose republicans so that they can keep their earnings. The government loves to give workers' money to everyone but them. I get that unions help some, but what about everyone else?
Fuck you, all the new wealth of the country has gone to the golden few at the top , for your brother to be a millionaire it had to pull a millionaire down to achieve that goal. and in general terms you are most likely lying as all millionaires do. Daddy started that pile with a boat load of money is the normal way. and that's my guess.Well in my brothers defense he was born poor and made himself into the millionaire he is now. Isn't it great we live in a country where you can do that? And you want to do what to them because you are jealous?
yup, that would be 100% correct ,Closing loopholes for the rich won't help the middle class, but it will get us out of deficit spending. That's the point.
The Gettysburg Address and the Golden Rule. This is a legitimate question for anyone who considers himself/herself a "left-leaning" person.

What are your thoughts on censorship and use of government force? The Gettysburg Address and the Golden Rule.
You know this isn't true. Politicians look at money now as an abstract concept, and justify the beauty of deficit spending. This is from both sides. Spending is an addiction, and rationalized. Sucking money from working people just hurts working people, period. They don't care about the deficit.Closing loopholes for the rich won't help the middle class, but it will get us out of deficit spending. That's the point.
So you think the only way a person can be successful is by inheriting money? This will cement the two tier class system.Sperm Bingo
Inheriting is the opposite of earning.

You folks asked. I told you.Support for minorities
Support for women
Support for the poor
Support for LGBT folks
Support for the middle class
And understanding that education is important
That Global climate change is real and important
A belief in the mechanisms of democracy
A belief in institutions of America
REAL respect for the rule of law
Real respect for the military
And that’s just off the top of my head
Conservatism is the philosophy of failure. This is a legitimate question for anyone who considers himself/herself a "left-leaning" person.

Liberals automatically believe that "change" is always somehow good. We can all ask the victims of Leftist policies if "change" was good in Bolshevik Russia or Communist Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea, Communist China, Cambodia, North Vietnam, etc. Well ... we can ask the ones that survived, anyway. On a rare occasion, a change can be beneficial but one need not be a Liberal to recognize a beneficial change.Conservatism is the philosophy of failure.
Its nature is to oppose all progress no matter the social benefit. In short, "conservatism" is for losers.
Now perhaps the wording is...offensive but across history conservatives are always on the losing side. Examples:
Someone here mentioned the "free market" as a conservative creation. No, in fact, prior to the "free market" e.g. "capitalism" there was mercantilism and feudalism and it was conservatives who defended these economies.
The American Revolution was opposed by conservatives.
Slavery was defended by conservatives
Restricting the right to vote to property owning white men was (and is) defended by conservatives.
Social Security and Medicare were opposed by conservatives and still are.
Every societal move forward across American history has been opposed, unsuccessfully, by conservatives.
Conservatism, as a philosophy, is a losing game. MAGA, which claims to be conservative, isn't. MAGA is nothing but anger and hate masquerading as politics
Except the British Government wasn't tyrannical, and the Founders just didn't want to pay for a war they started and had a fear that the Crown would eventually free their slaves. The Founders of the USA recognized that breaking from a despotic government would be a beneficial change. They established the Constitution which turned out to be very beneficial. Now that we all recognize that fact, we should "conserve" their legacy.

Perhaps the fact that leftist don't recognize that fact brings us to the modern era where leftists embrace tyrannical policies.Except the British Government wasn't tyrannical, and the Founders just didn't want to pay for a war they started and had a fear that the Crown would eventually free their slaves.

Not correct. Horses have been horses for eons. They're doing just fine. "Changing" from a free nation to an oppressed, all-powerful government is a very stupid change to make.Change is natural. It's called evolution.
Those that do not change, do not move forward, die.
When change is refused to harshly, you get revolution.
The US Constitution recognizes this and thus has built-in mechanisms for change.
Recognizing the need for change doesn't make one a liberal but blindly opposing change for the sake of opposition definitely makes one a conservative.

Horses evolved and continue to evolve.

And those that failed to evolve?

Aren't.
Cuba wasn't free.
Neither was Russia, France, China...
It was the conservatives desperately clinging to power and refusing to change that led to the outcomes that conservatives claim to fear most.
You seem to have misplaced whatever reason you carried into the conversation.^^ Fantasy and/or Vivid Imagination. ^^
Embracing Communism does not equate to a Thoroughbred or an Arabian.
