Zone1 Question for Christianity based Trump supporters.

your perverse views of the world on everyone else
You mean like men not having sex with men? Or sons not having sex with their mothers? Or maybe men not having sex with animals? Which perverse view would you like to ring fence as acceptable?

I wouldn't give two shits what you did in church if you pusillanimous religious actors and lying frauds weren't trying to impose your perverse views of the world on everyone else.
I can't tell you how happy I am that you are finally admitting your motivation.

It's pretty clear you're on a mission to subordinate Christianity.

What then?

If I have said something amiss then prove me in the wrong but you can't because its truth.

I'm showing why you are doing it.

For once you and I agree!

So thank you for helping me to reveal the wisdom of God in giving the command to refrain from the flesh of unclean creatures that do not ruminate by so generously demonstrating for all the world to see the terrifying and deeply disturbing death a curse for setting that simple instruction aside and defiling your mind with irrational superstitious archaic lore.

Because of your obstinate stupidity even the most devoted atheist will become a believer.

Well done!

No, I'm thinking more about the worship of a trinity that diddled a virgin to become a man.

Isn't that like God having sex with an animal? Or even worse, his own mother! :ack-1:

Sorry son, you lose.... :dev3:

You deleted your other post? Why?

You've already exposed yourself, bro. You can't put the genie back into the bottle.

You really don't have an inkling about what is actually happening. Damn. Thats a shame!

:cul2:
Sure I do. You're upset with Christianity because you believe Christianity is anti-homosexual so you are here to lash out at Christians. You do this by making ridiculous interpretations of scripture in an attempt to subordinate Christianity by secularizing Christ.

I know. That's what I said in post #150.

This is a straightforward question without any GOTCHA purpose or goal.
It's a fact that a large part of trump's support is from the Christian community. Even though this group admits he is flawed, the fact that he furthers Christian goals is enough to garner votes. A common remark is "God is using this flawed man to further Christian ideals." Many mention his stance on abortion, gay marriage, and Christian curriculum in schools, as well as other religion-based ideals as reason for their support. You may have other reasons to support Trump, but this thread is not about those other reasons, and it is not about the validity of your Christian ideals, pro or con, and I will report anyone who tries to hijack this thread for that purpose.
I have two questions.

1.Which Christianity based ideals do you consider to be your reason to vote for this admittedly flawed candidate. (more than one is acceptable)
2. Would your Christianity require you to vote for him, if he didn't support those ideals?

For me it’s really about what we are fighting against: evil.

Supporting the mutilation of children in the name of “transgenderism” is evil.

Teaching children they can change genders is a lie, which is evil.

Killing an unborn baby is murder, and evil.

Destabilizing foreign countries to provoke wars that kills hundreds of thousands, or millions of people is evil.

The Democrat Party is a champion of these evil things. It wants to legalize them, and promote them.

That isn’t to say that Republicans don’t perpetrate evil things. The Neocon GOP for example promote wars based on lies. That is evil. But Trump came along and called that evil out, and put a stop to it. Now most of the GOP reject the old notion of supporting any and every war that comes along. This was a true transformation within the GOP. President Trump made that happen.

He has proven to be a champion against these evil ideologies within politics.

Also, whenever I ask lefties to provide actual proof of how Trump’s policies are evil or bad for the country, they cannot ever articulate a real answer, and it usually devolves into unhinged cursing, as if a demon is manifesting within the lefty.

Christianity based supporters of Trump now openly cheering on Vance.

What do the two men have in common besides being wealthy white men?

clue: Ms. Carroll on one side, and the support and advocacy of Trump pick Vance by the Gawker sex tape guy and Venture Capitalist Thiel, along with Donald Jr.

LOL

If only that were true.
A lot of people have the wrong idea of what turning the other cheek means. It doesn't mean not defending one's self. It means to take the high road when one does. Don't become what you hate. Doing the lesser of two evils is a last resort - not to be undertaken without thoughtful, objective contemplation - but sometimes necessary but should never be justified as being moral, good or just. Just necessary. Many a saint have contemplated this.

That was about the abuse of the Roman occupation.
It was a reference to the "life for life limb for limb eye for an eye" laws. A slap on the ckeek isn't even on the list. At the time a slap was considered an insult, the way slaves were treated, and people would seek compensation through the courts for the insult. It was never intended to be a command that christians can't defend themselves against violence.

Odd that Jesus didn't know the Aramaic word for insult. That would have saved lots of confusion.

The confusion got worse when superstitious romans usurped authority over interpreting Jewish esoteric literature written in figurative language that remains above their grasp.

"Take care, then, how you listen; for the man who has will be given more, and the man who has not will forfeit even what he thinks he has."
