Question about Neg. Rep comments

I am getting a lot of Neg. Rep. comments that aren't actually comments, just lots of very large Smilies that take up lots of space and reduce the number of comments I can see when I hit "User CP".

Are these kinds of comments allowed?

Forum software features are not supposed to be used to mess with other posters. Clearly that is what they are doing and it is causing you a problem with being able to see everything you need to see on your page. Report them.

That's the issue. Its not the meaning of the content, but the format of the content. Its disruptive.

I think they have to give you a reason.
If someone neg reps you more than twice in a row, I think putting them on ignore might stop it.
I would report them.
