Our odd modern-age preoccupation with celebrities and photo-sharing on the media-friendly Internet is perhaps creating a sort of 'sociological hysteria,' which suggests that such obsessive behaviors could induce a sort of 'mob psychology seizure.'

How do we construct the appropriate 'anti-censorship psychiatry'?

It seems that the McCarthyism-related problems of yesteryear have metamorphosized into a New Age Dystopian American Obesity.

Some theorists have suggested that this very 'modern problem' can be boiled down to some mass-psychology translation of sugar-intake.

Tom Cruise and Jennifer Connelly had become 'culture celebrities' for their symbolic work in 'imaginarium-mechanics' American films including Top Gun, The Rocketeer, Minority Report, and A Beautiful Mind. People were calling the 'Cruise-Connelly' phenomenon the perfect real-world totem-reflection of the Americana-psychiatry film American Beauty. The Cruise-Connelly 'dollhouse' had become the new Antony and Cleopatra 'case-study' for the American masses.

Meanwhile, an Internet-blogging self-proclaimed Algerian-American 'vigilante' named Ajay Satan was writing creative pro-consumerism rants on the popular Internet World Discussion Board, which got the attention of attractive actress Diane Kruger whose nice work in the archaeologically-marketed film Troy established her as a 'thinking-man's celebrity.' Kruger and Satan started secretly dating and their odd 'brainiac' romance made them 'sociological extracts' from the voyeurism-divination film Prince of Persia (or at least, that's what media-critics were suggesting!).

So the Cruise-Connelly 'item' was squared-off against the Kruger-Satan 'item.' As the media made a spectacle of this odd 'subculture phenomena' (with pro-consumerism comments by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg about the 'accessibility of virtual-reality diplomats' on the Internet) the American audience started thinking about how TV-obsession was creating cultural obesity, celebrity-fascination gluttony, and Facebook filibustering. Was this the new Camelot? People referred to this 2-on-2 Cruise-Connelly/Kruger-Satan 'textile' as the 'American Quadrophenia.'
