Qanon shaman...likely to get a new trial considering the government withheld video evidence from the defense....

We know how he will rule, and you will defend it just like you defend all forms of political prosecution against anyone to the right of Mitt Romney.

That you know how the will rule indicates even you know you're wrong. You just can't bring yourself to admit it.

No, I didn't. I said some were egregious. That means some weren't. The egregious ones are the ones having the proverbial book thrown at them. But they were all guilty of causing Congress to call a recess.

A whole 6-8 hours or so.

I'm assuming the people in Minneapolis that had their businesses burned to the ground feel terrible about that.

The numbers recently are way skewed in the abortion rights nuts being the perpetrators of violence, but your tu quo que attempted is noted and dismissed.

Yes, they walked in through open doors without masks because they foolishly believed their own government could be trusted to not put up show trials for political crimes.

Thanks for showing that these people weren't there to commit crimes, unlike the masked anti-fa types.

You should really think before you type, dipshit.
You are clearly ignorant of the long history of anti-abortion activists targeting clinics, including murder. Skewed my ass.

They walked in without masks because they thought they were doing the bidding of the president. They trusted Trump to save them from the repercussions of their crimes.

They thought that they can do whatever they want without having to ever pay a price. We should go easy on them because they thought they were above the law?

I am aware of the long history of trying to tie peaceful protests to the violent wackjobs. Please find me defending anyone bombing or defacing anything related to ANY topic.

They walked in because they had no idea the government would go after them on trumped up political charges.

For many of them the law didn't stop them, didn't arrest them at the scene, and let them leave. typically when you do something illegal in front of the police they tend to arrest you.

I never said you defended attacks on abortion clinics, but you are clearly ignorant of the history of them. That’s because you’re right wing media doesn’t tell you about it, it wouldn’t fit the narrative. They sure will talk about vandalism at pregnancy crisis centers because thar does fit the narrative of victimhood. And thus, by controlling what information you get, they’ve manipulated you into being a nice little meat puppet. Good job.

The charges aren’t “trumped up”, these are actual felonies. You’re trying to change the definition of a crime to suit your own political purposes.

Committing felonies and bragging about it doesn’t get you excused. Being brazen is a BAD thing, not a good thing.

Before January 6th, they were saying “they can’t arrest us all”.

After January 6th, it’s now “how dare they arrest us all”.

You’re the shittiest defense lawyer ever.

I was talking about right now, you are trying to go back into the past.

Right now civil disobedience pro life protesters have a better chance of being prosecuted than violent abortion rights protesters.

Show trial charges are show trial charges.

On the other hand, you are the best fascist supporter ever.

Ah, so you just want to erase history. Abortion clinics have had to be closed and others turned into goddamn fortresses because of the history of violence. Providers can’t live in the city because they’d be targeted. They fly in from other states, drive rented cars to avoid being identified and fear for their lives.

Yeah, it’s not the same now because the history of violence, which has been hidden from you, has had its desired effect.

You can’t explain the difference between actual charges and “show charges” other than the fact that you think people who agree with you shouldn’t be charged when they commit felonies.

Believing the law doesn’t apply to your group is actually fascism.

And that violence, which I don't deny, is used as an excuse to prosecute peaceful protesters, as we saw with the recent acquittal of the guy who defended his 12 year old son from some violent clinic escort.

Anything not related to violence or actual property damage during J6 is a show charge.

That's the difference.

You believe the law can be un-evenly applied based on political views, which if fascism.

So you’ve redefined crime to suit your own political needs.

How very fascist.

I guess you think you aren’t unevenly applying the law since you can redefine what the laws are to avoid having to apply it to your political comrades. Is that how your mental gymnastics work?

I haven't done anything of the sort. What I have pointed out is selective prosecution and degree of prosecution based on the current DOJ's bias against anyone to the right of Mitt Romney.

You dismiss VIOLENT crime by your own side, and then equate it to non violent protest on my side.

A whole 6-8 hours or so.

It matters not how many hours it was. The law doesn't specify a time frame. It only applies to Congress being obstructed to the point they had to call a recess.

And as evidenced by BuffaloHead, many of them did that because they believed Trump told them and they were just following orders.

It matters to the overlying narrative of this somehow being an insurrection, or have you forgotten that talking point already?

And about the part where he told them to be peaceful?

Did he explicitly say "break into the Capitol" or even "walk into the Capitol"?

It appears they were more interested in the part where he told them to fight like he'll if they didn't want to lose their country.

As far as his exact words, he told them to go to the Capitol to make their voices heard. The only way to accomplish that was to go into the Capitol. Where, by the way, some of Trump's thugs explained to police trying to get them out, was the reason they were inside the Capitol... to have their voices heard.

Trump said it. They listened.

Just like when Trump finally said, go home and they listened to that too.
