I've been listening to what Ruth Ben-Ghiat has to say for some time now. It seems unlikely to me fans of trump will be willing to hear it. They will no doubt find it uncomfortable and therefore turn away.

For those who don't, you'll find she makes some valuable, and valid, observations. Ones that help make sense of this period in our history.

His own former Chief of Staff would agree, as would many others who have worked in his administration.

It appears to be what the electorate wants. Inexplicable.

Ok

According to the lib professor 80
Million Americans are wrong and she is right

Now that we cleared up can we get on with deporting illegal aliens and fake asylum seekers?

We have a lot to do in the next four years

As you yourself have pointed out the attraction to him and those like him is not without historical precedent. Which is the thing Ben-Ghiat has studied. What we are observing has been repeated in other countries at various times of their history. Caused by similar conditions in existence in the US right now. The parallels are not hard to identify, but they are difficult for some to admit to.

The trump movement is akin to the allied forces taking Berlin.

Women like her have slowly destroyed the Western World. They cashed a lot of checks they have not paid for. Still are doing it. One day the bill will come due. That is when they will learn the wrath of history. For it will hit home on that day. Maybe they will come to common sense before that.

Burj Khalifa lights up for historic Dubai Hanukkah celebrations

Chabad celebrates Fascist Hitler US President by displaying a Menorah under the Burj

"The message behind Hanukkah is to spread light over darkness. And I see the UAE as the brightest light in this region,” Rabbi Duchman said."

No, she is perhaps the leading authority in the world on fascism and authoritarian leaders, and has been since before Trump even thought of running for office.

Don't look now but her (and your) ilk have been tossed to the curb. We only need a good rain to wash your ilk into the gutter where you belong.....Trump is bringing the rain.....Enjoy your sewer rat company.
