According to VCIOM, the Russian state statistical agency, Putin's rating fell in July 2018 to a record low below 38 percent. The reason is an increase in the retirement age of Russians: for men from 60 to 65 years, for women from 55 to 63 years, as well as rising prices for gasoline.
As of August 19, 2018, Putin's rating has changed insignificantly.
Nevertheless, it should be noted that the rating of the leaders of the liberal opposition, supported by the US and Europe, does not rise above 1 percent.

Confidence in political leaders

It should be noted that the liberal statistical agency Levada Center did not record a fall in Putin's rating to such a level.

Indicators

Putin is doing the right thing.

People don't like it when the government does less for them, but it's necessary for the long-term health of the Russian state.
