I don't see the issue with people not showing the "appropriate" amount of sympathy for Charlie Kirk. I tuned in and listened to him pretty regularly and I can say for a fact he was an extremely divisive and controversial figure.
Of course nobody should be murdered for their opinions but Kirk constantly fanned the flames of bigotted, mysogynistic, non inclusive and homophobic hatred and intolerence that often leads to political violence against marginalized groups.
His words were not the least bit Christ-like (aka Christian). In fact the things he publicly advocated for were pretty much anti-Christian.
One could argue that based upon his words and actions the only thing "Christian" about Charlie Kirk was his claim to the title.
The Bible says you can judge (identify) a tree by the fruit it bears. Charlie Kirk sowed hatred, division, paranoia, and intolerance. Contrary to the apparent beliefs of many on this board these things are NOT Christian values.
So no, although it is sad that such an ignorant, tiny-minded man should have his life snuffed out so young leaving his little babies fatherless, you can't blame people for not being excessively torn up over the loss of him.
Some may even consider it poetic justice.

I am not a religious person and for that reason, I never cared for him enough to watch more than a few minutes of his debates at any given time.

From what I viewed, he made a LOT of his points in a debate by asking difficult questions, not by dictating a fascist point of view.

While this is truly classless....I have to ask myself how I would feel in Rachael Maddow "took one for the team". I am not going to cry. I am not going to feel bad. Maddow isn't a flamethrower. For a long time I enjoyed her show. Was very informative. But she sold her soul to MSNBC and became the kind of bulls**t influencer that they wanted. I certainly am not advocating violence. I was just being honest about the fact that if she went down, I'd not be very sad. If anyone ever deserves to be avenged. Charlie Kirk doesn't deserve any less of an avenging than what George Floyd was given.

Also, Kirk didn't have a bunch of drugs in his system (or there has been nothing reported) when he was shot. He was doing what he came to do, engage the left.

A career criminal. I get the issues people have with the way blacks are treated. But, in this case he was a criminal. End of story. I didn't get in the middle of the whole kneeling thing. The officer was tried in a charged court and convicted.

Floyd wasn't avenged. His weakness and lack of character were displayed all over the country. If he was in the spirit world and sober, he was probably embarrassed to death.

Kirk will be avenged by not letting his efforts and memory die. In spite of the hate that is thrown at him and all the lies told about him......we know what the truth is. We need to press forward with what he was trying to accomplish.

Somehow this kid got radicalized which is what Kirk set out to fight against. The fact that some radical left winger killed him is only further evidence that Kirk was on the right track.

Get some rest and don't let it get to you. The slime on this board are just that....slime.

One final point: Kyle Rittenhouse showed up to do what Kirk was doing...protecting the rights of Americans. The left (for some stupid reason) chose to assault him. We know how that turned out for them. And I hate to say it, but the right took a lot of delight in Kyle's turning the tide on them. Especially the guy with the skateboard. Both sides do it.
